Lou Dobbs just broke in with the report that Mike Pompeo now has 56 votes for confirmation, and has been confirmed by the Senate.
And a good one!

Pence will swear him in tonight. They may even visit tonight. It wouldn’t take long for 300-400 show up. There were over a 1,000 that didn’t get in earlier.

Downside on FOX cable was they have put Marie Harf to work at FOX as a commentator. As if we didn’t see enough of her when she was covering someone’s rear at the State Department. What are they thinking of? Certainly no one who watches FOX needs or wants to see her. What next? Perhaps Jen Psaki?
She appeared opposite Peter Hoekstra tonight and she may as well have not shown up - she was that IMPRESSIVE.
We are soon going to be at the point of getting all our news from the internet as the networks haven’t been worth watching for many years and cable is really getting bad. People on FOX and I won’t name names - who went along with the Trump campaign are now being seen - at least by me - as altogether not entirely in Trump’s corner. I guess it’s Lou Dobbs or nothing...
Nice to see some Democrats came across the isle on this one.
I hope to see more of that over the next eight years.
