Trump wins on the downside here. The GOP senate no longer has any reason not to use the nuclear option against the Dems.

It’s already in effect for cabinet appointments thanks to Harry Reid - only 51 votes needed to confirm. The minority party still has some rights via procedures, etc. & dragging out confirmations is one of the things they can do. The nuclear option can still be invoked for SCOTUS nominations - that still requires 60 votes & the Dems will all vote “no” on anybody Trump puts up so I think McConnell is going to end up having to “go there” & use it.
So how long can they continue of obfuscate?
Dems are just like the Russians. I hope DJT only has to learn his lessons only once when dealing with treacherous foes.
