RUSH: So Chuck Schumer promised the Republicans a deal on Mike Pompeo, the nominee for CIA director, and then promptly broke the deal. He lied to them. And they’re shocked! They’re stunned. They’re stunned that Schumer would not do what he said he was gonna do. I can’t believe this! Of course Schumer’s gonna lie! All Chuck Schumer’s got is obstruction. Do you realize by now every other previous president has had at least half of his cabinet already in office, and Trump’s only got two? They’re delaying this just because they can.
They’re all gonna get confirmed.
Now, Rubio’s even come out with McCain and Lindsey Graham and they’re gonna support Tillerson. So Tillerson’s gonna get confirmed. They’re all gonna get confirmed. They’re just delaying it here. For what reason? To show that they can. It isn’t going to matter. It’s not going to help Schumer. The Republicans have got to stop this thinking that they can coexist in a bipartisan manner simply because the Democrats lost. The Democrats do not think they lost! You Republicans have got to get something through your heads. They do not live in the reality that “is.” They think you’ve cheated them! They think the Russians rigged the election. They do not live in reality. They think that’s a social construct.
Trump wins on the downside here. The GOP senate no longer has any reason not to use the nuclear option against the Dems.
All the RATS are filthy liars. They cannot be trusted with ANYTHING.
As usual they play games.
All will get confirmed.
Trump will pounce on them when he really needs to.
This one will come back to bite them. Should anything happen and we have no leadership at the CIA, Dems own it.
I’ve no doubt that President Trump is going to take this to the people to be remembered in 2018 and beyond.

It’s already in effect for cabinet appointments thanks to Harry Reid - only 51 votes needed to confirm. The minority party still has some rights via procedures, etc. & dragging out confirmations is one of the things they can do. The nuclear option can still be invoked for SCOTUS nominations - that still requires 60 votes & the Dems will all vote “no” on anybody Trump puts up so I think McConnell is going to end up having to “go there” & use it.
So how long can they continue of obfuscate?
Dems are just like the Russians. I hope DJT only has to learn his lessons only once when dealing with treacherous foes.

Fire McConnell. He either isn’t smart enough to handle Schumer, or he is on Schumer’s side. We now have the Presidency, the House and the Senate and only TWO cabinet members have been approved. If the turtle from KY can’t move faster than this, he should be replaced. C’mon, KY Trump supporters. Get on the ball and let McConnall know he’s looking like a a chump and no match for Schumer.
