Newly minted Secretary of Defense James Mattis celebrated his first full day at the Pentagon by overseeing 31 strikes against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
Mattis entered the Pentagon Saturday with a smile for his first full day of work, and for good reason, considering the significant bombardment ISIS forces received.
A variety of fighters, bombers and remotely piloted aircraft engaged in the bombing run, which saw 25 strikes in Syria and six in Iraq.
In Syria, two strikes destroyed ISIS units and artillery near the town of Bab. ISIS forces in Raqqa, the terrorist groups de facto capital, took a heavy beating, as 22 strikes destroyed 12 tactical units, nine fighting positions, two underground improvised explosive bomb factories and an ISIS headquarters. The final strike targeted two ISIS oil wells in Deir ez Zour.

“The sooner they pay that price the better.”
The phrase “removal of root and branch” comes to mind but in the run-up to such time I await hearing enemies humbly say “Uncle Sam” in as many languages as necessary.
Though specific to U.S. Marines, enemies need to take to heart the very simple meaning of a 2003 statement by Mattis; “No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy.”
May Godspeed.
This web site has a comphrensive history of the Manhattan Project and it's various locations and undertakings. It illustrates the immensity of the program. It does not mention cloak and dagger but rather the efforts of over 600,000 people. Apology in advance for the lack of formatting. http://www.atomicheritage.org

War protesters to dust off unused signs and gear. Look for them at your local post office soon.
We’re going to need to find out where to get true news, and go there PERIOD!! TURN OFF the cables, and TV/ liberal newspapers and literally destroy them by BOYCOTTING!!
I gave up Cable /TV four years ago and never turned back!!
That's inhumane. Tape the leaflets to the bombs.
Is it time for “Team America II”?
ME TOO!!
How much does a bunker buster or “rod from the gods” cost to collapse the palestinian tunnel systems used to invade our ally Israel?
For the first time in decades, I’m feeling proud of America again. So much disappointment because of PC, uniparty, queers, nags, affirmative action, white-haters, illegals, muzzie-kissers and God-haters (proggies all) calling the shots.
Eject them all, level the building.
Honestly, it would be smart to use a nuke on Raqqah. The civilians there would probably consider it an act of mercy. It would also show the world that America has had enough and maybe, just maybe, you’ll see the other pissant muslim countries reign in their terror support.
Or at least Arc Light-style B-52 raids, until every building is leveled and no one is left alive.
On that date, there should have been mushroom clouds rising over all former Sowdy cities.
Then the question: "Anybody else?"
Probably because it's not out of the ordinary. I used to sit in on daily kinetic strike updates and while this number is a little higher than normal, it's not especially remarkable. We've been bombing steadily over there for quite a while. I imagine it's had some effect, but ISIS still seems to be going strong.
I wonder where they're getting money from...?
MSM: “If we don’t report it, it didn’t happen.”
That doesn’t work any more.
