West Virginia women who want an abortion are down to only one in-state choice now, as one of the states only two abortion clinics closed its doors earlier this week.
Kanawha Surgicenter closed as of 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to a note posted on the door of the clinic in Charlestons Kanawha City.
A woman who answered Dr. Gorli Harishs phone and said she is his wife said the family moved to California two years ago to be closer to their children and grandchildren. The doctor had been commuting to Charleston once a month to perform procedures and no longer wished to make the regular trips, she said.

THANK YOU GOD!!
One to go.
These kinds of articles never give the new longest-travel time for a state resident to the nearest, in this case, only, in-state abortion clinic. Is it essential as a matter of insurance that a state resident is only covered for an in-state clinic?
A little mapquest work shows me that Horner, WV, for example, which looks to me to be more or less near the center of WV, is a little more than two hours from Pittsburgh, PA. Questions arise: How much of a burden is a two hour drive for something that the abortion crowd used to advertise to be “rare”? Is it impossible to get to Pittsburgh via bus from those sorts of places, or to get a ride, once, to a bus station along the route?
This is all Trump’s fault!/s

Dear Clinic Operator: you just need to be a little more diverse, accepting and inclusive.
Now West Virginia just needs to get rid of its last major Democrat officeholder.
Hooray!!!
They must be silly; wanting to be able to more easily destroy future Democratic voters!
A-men. Here in Kentucky, there were three abortion-providing facilities in 2015. One closed last year, and one closed this month, leaving only one now in the Commonwealth.
