If youre like most American citizens, youve probably already personally confronted the place on the President Donald Trump love-hate spectrum that is opposite of yours. It may involve friends, family, coworkers, and even strangers. The singular characteristic of this dichotomythough there are many points on the spectrum that are not absolute--is a polarized opinion of our new commander in chief.
Possibly the prickliest dynamic will be the interface between conservative parents and progressive-minded young adult children who have been steeped in a milieu of academic and cultural anti-conservatism. Such childrenwhether in public or private schoolshave been propagandized by subtle or explicit disparagement of conservative viewpoints and ideologies since kindergarten. Continuing in elementary school, they were conditioned to accept without question the evils of right-leaning values and ideologies.

Exactly!! Have observed the same with grandchildren, both of whom are in public “liberal” universities.
...I'd want to check who the Captain is ...
I just laugh at them.
That’s a good strategy. They can’t handle criticism or being laughed at :)
Hmmm.... propitious . . . . . propitious . .

Explain to the chirrun they must not take any job created by Trump’s strategerie.
I am from Canada, and even I have had to just shut up around most people.
I am though smirking a lot right now and am looking forward to our “own” Trump one day in the future.
Oh, have no fear, I have talked and argued and educated all of the above, in years past, sometimes with good effect.
This year is different. The freakin' media and the Democrats have brainwashed otherwise sensible people into thinking Trump is the apocalypse incarnate. There's no talking rationally with them, they rant and rave and their eyes get wild and scared, and if you disagree with them they call you names and think you're out to do them personal harm.
These are friends and family and other overall good people; but they've been brainwashed, and right now they're freakin' insane.
When life goes back to normal in a few months, I'll try again. No worries.
