Ahhh...our nutty US fiction that some rebels are anti-ISIS and so must be good guys.
Much like the nutty fiction that Russia is fighting ISIS. You know if ISIS backed Assad, the Russians would be in bed with them.
You link went to Radio free Europe? LOL, that’s an official US government radio station, basically CIA, that is saying Russia was being bad in Syria.
LOL, so basically, deep state radio reinforces the US government position. That’s fake news defined.
Not once did the corrupt “US” Congress
either STOP Obola’s support of ISIS and Islamic terrorism
or bring him to impeachment.
NOT ONCE.
The entire ISIS “army” is about 25,000. And its scattered all across Syria.
We are on the wrong side there. But yes, cowardice is rife in the Arab world. It just is. A million of them walking into Europe is exhibit A. And the arabs have a tactic of talk big, negotiate, and withdraw. Their military traditions, and traditions of individual self defense are very weak.
Assad is the only one there that SHOULD be backed up. Possibly excepting the Kurds.
On Friday, Big Media will suddenly begin caring about military deaths, the national debt and unemployment again.
That number of 25,000 is low
It is perhaps the number of foreigners fighting for ISIS based on Al Baghdadis call to all muslims to come fight for the caliphate
We are going to have to disagree that the civilian populations of besieged cities like Aleppo Mosul and now Deir Ezzor are cowards
But when we are supporting the barbarians atracking them, we have no stones to throw
Takfiris? This really is Iranian/Hezbollah propaganda. Everyone take note, anyone using words like this is pushing propaganda.
That face someone makes...

...when WWIII doesn't turn out as prophetable as they thought it should be.
I still can’t believe I voted for McCain.
Thought McCain was repulsive but kept my mouth shut on here and made it through without a timeout or zot, rationalized it as a vote for Sarah Palin.
Too bad our butthurt Cruz contingent can’t manage the same level of restraint.
Here’s a map of the military situation near Deir Ezzor last January:
https://southfront.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/eUUh0XX.jpg
It’s not the Kursk Salient, but neither is it 500 guys with black headbands.
Here’s the situation a year later - there’s a helpful video.
https://southfront.org/syrian-war-report-january-17-2017-isis-developing-advance-in-deir-ezzor/
The position has basically collapsed.
The key breakthrough was back in September when ‘Uncle Sugar’ deliberately strafed outposts on and about Tharda mountain. Significantly: this air assault was immediately followed by an ISIS attack.
This breakthrough has led inexorably to Deir Ezzor airport being closely encircled.
If the new CIC repurposes the USAF so that it starts fighting ISIS, instead of acting as its airforce, then perhaps the legitimate government of Syria will have a chance.
So this thread really is about Cruz. I suspected, lol.
There’s an old saying that applies here. Speak of the devil and he appears.
Let me know when he appears, I’m curious. I’ve been on this thread for hours.
Oh, sorry, thought that idiom might be old enough that you’d have been exposed and would grasp it.
I’m the devil, now? Can we go back to your contention from yesterday that I want to be Irish? Are the two related?
Russia is bombing ISIS. You can go see the videos on line.
On the other hand: the USA created ISIS, has been re-arming ISIS and has been acting as ISIS’s airforce.
