DC Police will not be able to run on their body cameras at inauguration day protests. Washington DC All DC Police Officers have recently been outfitted with body cameras, but they will be in serious trouble if they have them on during the Inauguration Day protests.
NBC News 4s Mark Segraves reported that its against the law for body cameras to be on while police are at protests unless the officer is required to take action. This means that officers can turn the cameras on when they want to arrest somebody, but they will be unable to capture what led up to the arrest.

Rhetorical question?
D.C. hates the police as much as Chicago and Ferguson and Baltimore!
Another take: turn the cameras off and beat the h@#% out of any out-of-line anti-Trump protester, especially anyone that dares burn or trample on a US flag.
Give these smelly hippies a wood shampoo, then turn on the cameras and report that someone must have thrown a rock and fled the area.
Anyone wearing a mask should be immediately taken down and arrested. Period.
It is outrageous.
I would like to think that the police don't want to see their city descend into chaos with people being hurt. Is it that bad over there?
If you assume that (1) liberals are evil, and (2) leftists are coordinating to promote violence, this makes complete sense.
Thankfully there will be a million cell phone cameras.
The video above has some ACLU lawyer saying police body cams infringe on the rights of protesters.
I do not believe this has been adjudicated. I also don't think they would care if Police were recording Trump supporters.
Why? Snowflakes and anarchist punks don’t want to be recognized by their bosses?
They’re afraid that the cameras will only show the faces of nasty RATs.
I don’t get why the police are making this decision...fake news?
I wonder if some police will use cameras anyhow, now that James O’Keefe has proof of protestors saying they plan to burn cops’ houses. They need to get every freak on camera as much as possible to use when they’re prosecuted in court.
Is this not against the freedom of information act?
Easier to present plausible deniability is theres just ONE film says Abraham Zapruder .....
I do.

I do believe that was rule number one, followed closely by an explanation of the benefits of membership in the JOPA (junior officer protection association).
No this site is NOT fake news
The cameras are to prevent police brutality.
Agree.
