I have been buying clothes from LL Bean for 25+ years. The quality, prices and selection are excellent. I have their credit card to take advantage of discounts.
My seasonal shopping was over, but just ordered $125 worth of clothes to get the 25% discount, put Bean dollars on my card AND tell the boycotters to shove it.
I suggest Freepers do the same. You will enjoy the product. I have clothes from 20 years ago - great quality and stuff that never goes out of style.
FYI, I have no connection to the company. I live in the Midwest.
We outnumber them.
They believe their own propaganda, and think that they are the majority (and they also do not do well with hard-core classes like mathematics and statistics).
I do not recall if I have ever bought L. L. Bean.
I will rectify that.
Just placed my order. I’m always looking for online shopping alternatives to the left wing whores like Amazon. Hopefully I will become a permanent Bean customer.
Sorry even with 25% off I still cannot afford their ridiculous prices. I do not care who says to support them.
just bought two new pairs of shoes from L.L. Bean. Before Christmas bought slippers for my mother from them. I’m glad that Mrs. Bean supported Trump and put her money to speak for her. Shame to idiots calling for the boycott.
It would be YUGE on Staten Island. Half a million people here and no good place to get a chicken sandwich.
If they are a franchise, someone is missing out on a fortune.
I dont work in Manhattan anymore :(
I ordered two sweaters! Take that, libs!
Bean shirts are way better than Lands End. Truly no iron.
Their flannel lined jeans are terrific too.
Customer service is excellent.
The Patron Saint of Flannel ...
Must be Karma - I had no idea of the Bean Familys support for Trump until now.
The “Bean Family” does not actually support Trump. One of LL Bean’s grandchildren, Linda Bean supported Trump. The company which is by about 50 of LL’s desendants has said they do not political postions and that no one owner speaks on thier behalf.
Knowing some of the family, I would say are to the left side though none I know are political like Linda is.
If Linda had been the daughter of LL’s daughter, this would be a non story.
They are certainly higher than stores like Target and Walmart, but are in line with online stores like Lands End.
I placed an order yesterday!
It was the granddaughter of the company’s founder who donated to the Trump campaign, and the libs feel the entire campaign should fail because someone in the founder’s family donated. I wonder when they threaten people with death unless they are rude or try to hurt the president.
Don’t care for their stuff its all imported when you read where its made and their prices are higher than other stores. Did visit the place when we traveled up that way nice place but most everything is imported.
True! They'll even repair some of their items - I've had a leather bomber jacket from LL Bean since Reagan was in office. Moths finally got to the cuffs and waistband, but the folks in Maine were able to get the damaged parts replaced for just a few bucks.
Time to throw them more $$ - maybe a new pair of Camp Mocs.
They have very good stuff. The wrinkle free shirts are expensive BUT you get the nice cotton look and won't need to take the shirt to the cleaners. That is a savings. They are great for business casual. Those wrinkle free shirts usually sell out and they do have some sizes on sale sometimes.
Also, I bought over 5 different brands of corduroy pants. None of them fit as well as the LL Bean. I think their quality is better than anything I've worn.

Linda Bean has nothing to do with LL Bean other than to cash dividend checks. She does, however, own a restaurant named Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine which could wind up being a target of boycotts so we should watch out for that.
