This is why he should have been given the needle.
Tried as an adult?
He was tried as an adult right? This guy thinks he’s getting out of prison after murdering 10 people? The guards will shiv him themselves if it looks like that’s the way it’s going.
Another BLM defense case.
All of a sudden?
I was .7 miles away from the very first victim. Brings memories...
Seems to me ten years per victim works out about right in this case.
After he’s served his hundred years, get back to me.
By rights, taking a life like this person did should get you the death penalty, or at the very least, the rest of your life behind bars.
Unprovoked... sentence... Can’t seem to give a damn.
The ATF told the guy’s ex-wife that in fact all the shootings actually had the goal of full custody.
He was going to establish this horrible chain of random shootings, and then kill HER.
Therefore the suspect for her killing would be “the random shooter”.
When I was a prosecutor, I had a similar issue. I had a post-appeal sentencing on a triple murder case where the guy got his LWOP sentence vacated. The trial judge on remand could have made the findings to give him LWOP anyway, but said he couldn’t make the necessary findings. I said, OK, fine...
Three murders, maxed and stacked, with the other crimes too. 248 years.
The judge gave him 248 years. If he’s a good boy, he’ll be out in 124.
Do the same here. Fifty years per victim, stack them, you get 500 years.
He should get a bullet in the head.
I recommend that the murdering moozlum is shot in the back of the head.
He should have already been put to death.
Let him out. I’m sure there are some relatives just waiting to greet him as he leaves prison.
He was tried and convicted as an adult in two different states.
I don’t believe he was ever tried in a Federal jurisdiction.
Either of these states could have awarded death. And carried it out in accordance with state law.
The feds have no jurisdiction.
Well, he wanted to be such a hot shot assassin.
Put him on a high risk mission to assassinate some particularly hawkish imams in, say, Afghanistan. Kill all of them on the list — or die trying.
The Supreme Court said juveniles couldn’t be sentenced to death. It didn’t say they couldn’t be sentenced to life.
If Obama had a son...
Defense attorneys will say or claim anything to save their client. If that’s all he has, his case is F’d.
shysters gotta shyst.
