Its finally happened. Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) has smacked a Twitter troll into last week.
In response to being called a house n***a, a disparaging term routinely used by the left to mock black conservatives, Scott fired back with a one-word response.
Ouch. The racially insensitive tweet was ultimately deleted and then the account was too.
Some of the Twitter reactions are gold
snip
As the first black Republican senator since Reconstruction, Scott has had to put up with more than his fair share of racial jabs from his liberal critics.
Clearly, he's figured out how to handle it just drop the mic on 'em.
Not bad, Senator.
Epic comeback.

Amazing what a one-word search reveals ...
Why is black representation in the GOP so rare at this level. Seems to me this is more fitting of the hope expressed in the Beatles song “Blackbird” which attempted to be about this issue in the heady sixties.
We need more black rednecks (the “pick our own cotton” mentality kind) in Washington.
What are you doing here, ‘Mouth?
Great response from him.
Trump has given power back to the people
I know. The thread jackboots. They’re jackboots about everything else, too.
I ain’t no House n’er. I’s a Senate n’er!
He’s got guts and poise. He’ll do well in Washington. May his tribe increase.
And it looks like rednecks of every color.
A black fellow who can take a joke and dish it right back at his detractors without losing his cool, is just the kind of voice Washington needs. Rednecks have been doing it for a long time, because nobody can shame them for being rednecks. About time the spectrum took on some more shades. May there be 50 shades of redneck, but without the sex shenanigans.
Edward Brook was a black Republican who served as Senator from Massachusetts from 1967 to 1979.
Ha ha!
Good catch.
I think it was NAACP that decided to boycott the GOP, not vice versa.
It’s time that this silly and backwards Kabuki theater ended. How would anybody like to be told that they have to pout and sit out a segment of American politics because they are of a certain hue of skin?
Best response.
Humorous and a put down.
Man must have some great intestinal fortitude.
I think Trump is helping people speak out and also I think that having conservatism on front burner is getting stories like this out into the community.
We have some great conservatives out there, folks.
I laughed out loud for five minutes
Man
Wit is so so underrated
That is so cool
Ya know, a black guy who does not get his hair on fire over the N-word but still is very clear that it’s foolish... is one with the poise to really advance. About time that these hot buttons were duct-taped over, redneck style, so that nobody can push them any more.
LOL!
LOL!
