Buycott L.L. Bean!
http://www.llbean.com/
A leftist group that targeted Ivanka Trumps fashion line in the fall is now targeting the L.L. Bean clothing and equipment company because one of its 50 co-owners dared to donate $60,000 to a pro-Donald Trump political action committee (PAC).
The donor in question, according to the Daily Mail, is Linda Bean, one of 50 co-owners and a member of the founding Bean family. Her donation was sent to Making America Great Again LLC, according to the Associated Press, and came to light because the Federal Election Commission (FEC) complained the contribution was 12 times higher than the maximum allowable $5,000 individual limit. (PACs are subject to limits; super PACs are not, but may not coordinate politically with campaigns.)
Making America Great Again LLC chair David Jones said that he had been unaware of a letter from the FEC, and that the PAC was taking steps to convert to a super PAC.
The story, however, was enough to catch the attention of the #GrabYourWallet campaign, which has added L.L. Bean to its list of Additional Entities to Consider Boycotting, on the grounds that Company leader raised funds for Trump PAC.

Bought my niece an L.L. Bean gift card for Christmas.
No more Abercrombie & Fitch slutwear!!
Marko
I have been thinking about a new vest and found they have one that would suit my purpose well. I wear a lot of long vests for CCW so that would make it a double FU for libs.
Snowflakes “boycotting” L.L. Bean. Now that’s funny. What are they going to do, not park in Bean’s parking lot while going to Starbucks? LOL! Clowns.
I’m going to buy something. They have a $25 off sale.
I would counter-boycott a liberal store but I already don’t shop at those.
They will see just like Chick Filet sales will boom
I love LL Bean, because their clothes are such excellent quality and last so long. I’m happy to have another reason to support them! Putting my order in today. I would love to know if their sales increase because of this leftist backlash. I am betting that they will.
My thought also. Most libs either have no need for LL Bean clothing as they don’t go outside or they wouldn’t want to be seen in something that isn’t A “designer” brand
Products sold by LLBean are extremely durable. An umbrella purchased over 25 years ago is still in great shape. A barn coat purchased almost 10 years ago looks new. All their stuff is awesome. The upfront cost is more than comparable knock-offs, but LLBean’s products are built to last. You can buy with confidence when buying any of LLBean’s products.
Just bought a pair of women’s “Rubber Mocs” for the wife.
The problem is that conservatives tend to make choices based on merit or value, and leftists make choices based on political obedience.
I struggle to find an example of a company being boycotted by conservatives because of a political contribution by one of its owners. The other side will try to bring a company down or get people fired for that or less. That may the reason that so many corporations toe their line. It’s just easier that way.
A lot of them are dirtbag hippy types. And I think bean is something that lezbos wear.
“We have a potential block of 63 million plus to boycott them!!”
Pick CNN’s biggest advertiser and boycott them. There is no way the Time Warner-AT&T merger will happen knowing that their advertisers are being boycotted.
In the process, short their stocks. Might as well make money off of it.
I am not aware of the fact that Linda Bean is involved in the management of the company. She has her own businesses-some related to the lobster industry.
I’m going to buy from LL Bean.
Yeah, my wife heard about this and has been shopping, since!
Will use them for gifts to our Minnesota relatives.
Ah, I fondly remember the boycott of Chick-fil-A.
Suspect the same outcome this time as well; heh, heh.
Besides, a company specializing in work boots and out door stuff has little to fear from a herd of snowflakes!
Great Luggage too!
You are sooo right.
