A passage from the Koran that denies one of the central tenets of the Christian faith was sung aloud at a cathedral service in Scotland. The passage from Surah 19, which specifically denies that Jesus was the Son of God and says He should not be worshipped, was sung during a Eucharist service at St Marys Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow to mark the feast of the Epiphany.

The spirit of the Antichrist. It seems to be at the heart of our “progressive,” pro-Islamic churchianity.
Fact: The majority of the Anglican ministry is agnostic and does not believe in the divinity of Christ or the resurrection.
Hollering Aloha Snakebar!
Absurd.

Jesus should not be worshipped, eg “Praise Jesus”,
because He Himself said he should not be worshipped.
If someone requests NOT to be called “Brad”,
therefore you should call him “Brad”. That is just weird.
You can provide proof for that statement?
Good old Bishop Nazir Ali tells it like it is. I wish he’d join the Ordinariate already!
Islam means submission.
Anglicans are submitting.
Muzzies are laughing and dancing for joy because the Crusaders are ashamed of who they are and are willingly denying their heritage and welcoming those who would slit their throats.
From Yes Prime Minister (The Bishops Gambit) 1986
James Hacker: Humphrey, what’s a Modernist in the Church of England?
Sir Humphrey Appleby: Ah, well, the word “Modernist” is code for non-believer.
James Hacker: You mean an atheist?
Sir Humphrey Appleby: No, Prime Minister. An atheist clergyman couldn’t continue to draw his stipend. So, when they stop believing in God, they call themselves “Modernists”.
James Hacker: How could the Church of England suggest an atheist as Bishop of Bury St Edmunds?
Sir Humphrey Appleby: Well, very easily. The Church of England is primarily a social organization, not a religious one.
James Hacker: Is it?
Sir Humphrey Appleby: Oh yes. It’s part of the rich social fabric of this country. So bishops need to be the sorts of chaps who speak properly and know which knife and fork to use. The sort of people one can look up to.
Ask yourself this. You are the Anglican “bishop” of Glasgow, ostensibly a shepherd of the Christian flock. You not only allow a Muslim chant that denies Christ’s divinity in your Cathedral but say and do nothing. Now if the Muslim had disparaged homosexuals, the Anglican bishop would have gone into a frenzy. Wise up. The “spiritual” descendants of Henry VIII are not Christians. Look elsewhere for your spiritual solace.
I was raised Anglican and confirmed into the Anglican Church when I was 14..
I was taught that The LORD Jesus Christ was and is God...
As was my father before me, in the same Church, though a different town...
I understood the Trinity at an early age...
Its not the Anglicans but individual people that believe that Jesus is not God..
You can find Baptists who don’t believe if you want to look...
Why the Heck were they using a verse from the Koran at an Episcopal church?
