Marco showed how lightweight he is with his last question based on public knowledge and trying to get Tillerson to make a legal judgement on that. Rubio will vote no on Tillerson along with McCain.
They keep harping on “what is known in the public realm” to get legal decisions on war crimes.

I believe with what Rubio did this will be the downfall of Tillerson. He and others do not want a non public employee they cannot control at State

If the committee votes him down, does that mean the full Senate can’t take it up, or can they vote to override the committee recommendation?
(Hoping for a few country-first Dems.)

What a sad circus. Of course it is. That's all any of these things ever are, just another way for the goons of the Senate to get their mugs on TV acting "statesman-like". What a damn, sick joke they are. Absolutely sickening.

51 to pass the Senate.
They bigger question is can he get 51 IF he doesn’t get approved by this committee.

Tillerson is smarter than any of the idiots on this panel. I don’t think they will be able to rattle him. Why is Rubio acting like a jackass.
To: NeoCaveman
Rubio’s “questioning”, i.e., “attack”, reminds me of how Megyn and Baier jumped ugly on Trump at the beginning of the debate.

These people want war as a personal toy.
They forget that Chechnya was an islamic insurgency that became a war. Wars have collateral damage.
Even American wars. As I recall many wanted GWBush designated a war criminal over collateral damage.

The Senate generally follows its committees. I don’t think it is a requirement, though.
