Well, I can understand that.

A tree fell onto the parking lot yesterday, and there is no motion to remove it. The tree originated on the property next door, and there appears to be a dispute between the real estate firm managing my apartment complex and the owner of the rental property next door. This might end up in court due to the vagaries of Washington state land law.
Meanwhile a number of parking spaces are occupied by a fallen tree.

My gosh that sounds good! But...what does “Saute the onion in oil and discard” mean? Discard the onion? Why?

My favorite season is spring!
Fall
You are a somewhat sensitive soul with a tough exterior. You are street smart and wise about the world.
You have the heart of a poet, but you’re not too eager to let anyone else see it.
You are very creative and deeply talented. You are still looking for the perfect outlet for your expression.
You embrace change and think the cycles of life are beautiful. You don’t shrink away from the darker elements of life.

What you want is the caramelized sugars from the onion dissolved in the oil, but not the onion itself.

YIKES! I hope you got a stick and knocked off any of those icicles hanging over your doors! We don’t want you speared by one when you go outside!
Can’t blame you for staying in today. Doesn’t sound pleasant at all. Hope they do get those roads plowed before you head out tomorrow.
I did the same here. Wasn’t anything that needed to be done in town so I stuck around the house. That wind would’ve knocked me in my hiney had I gone out. But I do need to do the grocery shopping tomorrow, wind or not. sigh

Spring is wonderful in most locales, and I used to love it. However, living where I do, spring means sandstorms in March and April [ACK!!] and 100+ degree temps from May to September. Not so great here in the desert!
I love fall when it starts finally cooling off!

Ok...that makes sense. I have a feeling my hubby, if he cooked this, would want to keep the onion too! LOL!

My hubby just had the nerve to ask if I wanted to watch him! PUKE!!
I hope he was kidding. I’d as soon listen to HilLIARy. Well, that’s pretty drastic! LOL!
