Radical leftists are planning to make Jan. 20 the most chaotic Inauguration Day in American history.
Their stated goal is to "disrupt" the Inauguration festivities as much as possible, and they are planning a wide range of actions to achieve that stated goal. Some of the more moderate groups are using terms such as "civil resistance" and "civil disobedience," but others are openly talking about "blockades," jumping barricades, throwing projectiles and "citywide paralysis."
My hope is that all of their efforts will turn out to be a big flop, but it is important to understand that these groups are well-funded, highly organized and extremely motivated. The election of Donald Trump has been perhaps the single most galvanizing moment for the radical left in modern American history, and they are working very hard to turn Jan. 20 into a major political statement.
Thousands of activists, journalists, scientists, entertainers and other prominent voices took out a full-page call to action in The New York Times on Wednesday, making clear their rejection of President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence with the simple message: "No!"
"Stop the Trump/Pence regime before it starts! In the name of humanity we refuse to accept a fascist America!" the ad states, followed by a list of signatories that includes scholar Cornel West; author Alice Walker; Chase Iron Eyes of the Standing Rock Sioux; educator Bill Ayers; poet Saul Williams; CNN's Marc Lamont Hill; Carl Dix of the Communist Party USA and numerous others.

The wife and I were at Bush 2004 inauguration. Icy roads, cold and windy. But as we were in the security line to watch the parade. Actually there was no line, it was a mass of humanity queuing up to get thru the dozen or so security checkpoints under the tent. On the outside portion of this mass of people, 20+ protesters were about to burn a raised effigy of GW Bush. Capital Police collapsed on them within minutes. Before anything burned, the protestors and Police were gone in less than 3 minutes. Someone prob spotted what was about to happen from a rooftop before we did, but once Police arrived, like I said it was cleaned up in 3 minutes.
A good precedent would be using RICO as a weapon in the exact same way they used it against the militant pro-life group Operation Rescue (who physically blocked access to abortion clinics), which had the intended effect of completely bankrupting them and putting them out of operation.
I never read the book but I saw the movie. Bloody awful.
Should they have to report the size of the donation they are about to make to the Trump 2020 campaign?

This will make Trump look like he is the ultimate law and order candidate compared to violent leftists and give him social approval to do ANYTHING to shut them down.
It also proves liberals are the fascists they accuse conservatives of being.
If Obama is leading it, he risks becoming the first President ever arrested for violating the Riot Act or RICO act.
Exactly right! A Breitbart Story shows that Hungarian president is going after all Soros-funded groups.( Boy that guy gets around doesn’t he?) Trump needs to take a hint. We need to get rid of the well-funded and well-organized leftists’
groups, they need to be brought down to their knees. Nobody is against protests. It’s the organized acts of sedition that we must stop.
Identify rioters early and charge them with conspiracy, and whatever else is possible. Zero tolerance. Maybe after 8 years or more in jail, they’ll sing a different tune. We need a very serious shift toward law and order, which seems perfect start for rioters, looters, and anyone promoting and carrying out violence. Shoot them if necessary.
It would seem to me that there must be a paper trail.
If it couldn’t be tied to him, it most certainly could be tied to some of his corporations.
As some of his cronies went to prison, it would seem they might get a bit talkative.
And historically, they are really efficient at killing millions ...

This is their job - they are very well paid for their troubles and get free legal aid and bail monies as well. Many have trust funds, some get 40k a month or more from them and have dressers full of cash. Knew one, saw many others.
