A Missouri congressman is demanding criminal charges against Rep. Duncan Hunter who yanked a students controversial painting off the U.S. Capitol walls Friday, according to the Washington Post.
Rep. William Lacy Clay, D-Mo., said his staff met Monday with members of the Capitol Police to press theft charges against Hunter, R-Alpine, who removed the painting Friday and delivered it to Clays office as he left a Republican conference meeting where the artwork was discussed.
He had no right to take that picture down, Clay told the Post Monday just off the House floor. Its thievery.
The painting, by a recent high school graduate from Clays district, depicts a scene of civil unrest inspired by the 2014 events in Ferguson, Mo., and other recent protests against police led by African Americans. Several figures are depicted as animals, and some pro-police activists have said the rendering evokes derogatory images of police as pigs.

Maybe this would have been the time to employ the *shoot-shovel-shut-up* philosophy.
**I dunno, I thought I saw it there yesterday**
Naggers are so annoying.
Chicago is setting an example of what happens when the “community” tells LE to get lost, stay out of their hoods, leave the criminals alone-the murder rate is on course to break records. Now the “community” is bitching that the police aren't doing their jobs-when that's what they demanded.
They can't be really be so stupid as to demand that police desist from making stops for probable cause in areas with high rates of crime, and then be surprised when more violent crimes are committed. The police can't read minds and get there right before the criminal pulls the trigger.
Also, their judicial system is a revolving door, even for violent criminals. Before the CPD went fetal, they had to feel like they were trying to empty the ocean with a sieve, because as fast as they could arrest criminals, the thug-hugger judges would release them.
Good idea, but I doubt that people can draw breath there without someone watching.
Lets see.
Hypocrisy reigns.
A picture is taken from a wall and placed in the office of the person who placed it on the wall.
In ‘their feeble minds’ this is grand theft.
The real ‘beauty’ of this is said Congressman took his complaint to the POLICE while it is the Police who are being maligned in the poster.
A 6’8 300 pd+ 18 year old, in shape, goes into a store, rambles OVER the 5’3 120 lb clerk, takes what he wants, leaves, walks down the middle of a busy street— a Policeman attempts to stop him and ‘Tiny’ attempts to wrestle his gun away, ends up getting shot by the cop and the COP is charged (well - it is the Cops fault) after a lengthy investigation it is found the Cop didn’t know about the strong arm robbery so he had no business f’n with the kid walking down the middle of the street.
A Baltimore City Councilman or Ward person -whose wife is the ‘States Attorney’ DEMANDS more police presence in ‘his’ neighborhood due to the increase in drug trafficking.
The Police start rousting drug sales people, one - who is known to the Police runs, get captured and dies in the van.
Despite another van passenger who said the guy slammed himself inside the van, 6 police get charged with his death (the guy had pulled this crap before and gotten a cash settlement) and they attempt to hang the 6.
The Mayor and States Attorney tell the Police to ‘stand down’ during the riots that followed.
The Mayor, States Attorney & the Councilman are still there and the latest out of Baltimore is they don’t have enough Police.
DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So if Hunter is charged with theft and Clay accepted the property, then shouldn’t Clay be charged with possession of stolen property?
What’s he gonna do, call the police?
Be sure the dot is on the end of the address...it is not carrying over even though it is displayed in the hyperlink:

What would happen if an elected official put up a painting in the U.S. Capitol wall of the exact same motif but in this case showing the rioting blacks with heads of monkeys with big blood stained teeth and depicting some of the monkeys holding big screen TVs and others pointing guns at the police and the police are depicted with halos around their heads and saving a little white girl who is about to be hit over the head with a bottle of liquor by one of the rioting monkeys and there is a frightened baby deer in the mayhem holding a sign that reads “911”?
Paintings that are propaganda, jingoistic renditions of hate, have no place in the halls of Congress.
Similar to this case (Woman arrested for stealing a D.C. police officers french fries) except the two stolen french fries were worth more than one poorly executed painting.
That painting on all levels is CRAP,(the idiot artist needs to be offended) should never have been put up in the first place.
So is Clay now in possession of stolen property?
What a nasty, amateurish piece of "art".
I guess Lacy Clay wants the painting to start the conversation with, "Son see that WILD BOAR PIG right there?"
In the Capitol performing the People’s business means that he cannot be arrested or charged, pretty much.
“...after a lengthy investigation it is found the Cop didnt know about the strong arm robbery so he had no business fn with the kid walking down the middle of the street.”
Actually the Cop, Wilson, was indeed aware of the robbery commited by the punk and his cohort.
It has it's own wikipedia entry. Pretty entertaining read.
