Authorities in Chicago charged four people with hate crimes Thursday following the emergence of a disturbing video appearing to show them shouting obscenities about President-elect Donald Trump and white people while abusing a man authorities say has mental health problems.
The footage, which Chicago’s top police officer labeled “sickening,” quickly went viral online. In the shaky video, a terrified young man in a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants is seen crouching in a corner, his wrists and neck bound with orange bands, his mouth taped shut.
A young woman films as two young men slash the sleeves of his shirt with knives, then take turns punching him, slapping him and stomping on his head. At one point, one of the men can be seen cutting the victim’s hair and scalp with a knife, and the victim is later shown bleeding from his injuries....

The act was a heinous vile crime in and of itself, but is there really such thing as a “hate crime”? The concept of a “hate crime” is liberal inspired, as if adding the “hate” term makes it worse.

Hate crime charges. They will be dropped in a month or two after all Whites have forgotten about this crime.
Good. I don’t believe hate crimes merit a special designation - first-degree murder is first-degree murder regardless of motivation, battery is battery, etc. But I couldn’t believe it when the 4 perps were only charged with battery. I’m glad the charge of kidnapping was added.

CNN’s reporting on their website fails to mention the race of the suspects and the victim until more than halfway through the article. We are really living in the
Twilight Zone. This is all part of a darker, sinister plot to create such unrest before Trump takes office. The left is in full attack mode and will stop at nothing to diminish, weaken, invalidate and sabotage him.

I still don’t believe in “hate” crimes. Its a crime. Period. Prosecute for what they did, not how they were “feeling”.

That’s assuming they’re convicted, of course. Too bad they likely have no assets, I think they should have to go through a civil trial, too. In fact, where’s the victim’s lawyer demanding justice? We know there’d be one if he were black.
There are stupid crimes....this is one. It is completely rational to understand there are motivational forces beyond just being stupid.....ie it makes sense it was a hate crime. The hate comes from irrational assumptions about an individual based on race, sex, national origin, disability....being different. It appears from all accounts these animals crossed the line...twice. I have no problem heaping additional charges on them.
They think it is cool to post crap on line....how about a firing squad. We need to make some examples of these folks. Right in the middle of the street.

When the THUGS say “F*** TRUMP” they edited out the first words so it sounds like “Trump... Trump... Trump” and “N****r” over and over.
