But Assange said 'source is not Russian government and it is not a state party' WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has said Barack Obama is 'trying to delegitimize the Trump administration' by claiming the Russian government hacked Democrats' emails during the bitter presidential election.
Assange, whose interview with Sean Hannity will air on Fox News tonight, also reiterated his claims that Russia was not the source of the hacks.
He told Hannity 'with a thousand per cent' confidence that the Russian government was not responsible for emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman.

I just listened to Laura Ingraham on Fox and Friends. She slandered Assange, something about narcissism, then she said that Assange would not necessarily know from where and from whom his leaks originated, thereby revealing her ignorance of Assange’s expertise in computer espionage tactics.
Ingraham appeared to be desirous that it was the Russians who hacked Podesta, etc. Sometimes, I have noticed, her desire to be seen as divinely objective overrides common sense. She is just like the rest of us — not a clue from whom it originates. Judge Napolitano says the source was our own intelligence people. I can believe that.
Given that Assange courted the leaks AND wouldn’t have wanted to be fooled by material that wasn’t genuine, it seems naive of Laura (and rather narcissistic of her) to make such comments.
The devil darkens the room then accuses you of failing eyesight.

I am SICK of hearing ‘Russian hacking’!! Countries have been SPYING on each other since people could cross borders. Telephones were tapped, now computers are ‘hacked’. Bottom line is- WHAT was revealed, not WHO revealed it! Our/Obama’s government COVERED UP what Hillary was doing. The ‘hackers’ were just delivering the info-they didn’t create it. The Russians(if it was them) cover up their own stuff-I guess most governments do-but pointing out hypocrisy while forcing the truth to light was extra. I don’t care WHO the ‘mailman’ was, it’s the info delivered that matters. Should there be hackers? No. Will there be? Yes, as long as people are people and there is opportunity. It would be better to make sure there is NO DIRT to be found instead of screaming that someone uncovered it.
The source was Podesta. He wrote the dreck. Who cares how it became public?
The entire “Russia did it crap” is little more than a diversion.Divert attention away from hillarys crimes obamas incompetent mgmt. of eight years of governance,pizzagate,Seth Rich’s assassination and so much more.
Despite all the evidence to the contrary, the democrats want to pin this on Republicans in an attempt to delegitimize Trump.
They don’t care if they destroy America, as long as they can ‘pin it’ on someone else.
There was a leak, but no hack.
This hacking crap was and is a purposeful distraction from corrupt, criminal Hitlery Rotten Clintoon’s illegal server emails, which if examined closely, will implicate Sens McCain and Graham, and many other demokkkRATs and RINOs, in the illegal and unconstitutional formation and arming of ISIS, in the Middle East, among many other crimes. That also led to the slaughter of 4 Americans in Benghazi, on 9-11-12.
Despite the hysterical claims of the press, the election was not hacked. The Democratic National Committee’s lousy IT security allowed someone – Seth Rich, whom the DNC had murdered – to access their emails which were then leaked. Clinton’s campaign manager John Podesta fell for an age-old phishing scam that was as believable as getting millions of dollars from a Nigerian prince. Using the dimwitted media understanding of cybersecurity, they can claim that the DNC and Hillary’s campaign were “hacked,” but the election decisively was not. And the corrupt, covering-her-ample-ass press knows it.
John Bolton also indicated he’d (John) take the word of our government over Assange. I like(d) Bolton, but his credibility just took a huge hit on that stupid remark.
