NEW YORK (AP) — Gospel singer Kim Burrell says she makes "no excuses or apologies" for a sermon at a Houston church where she referred to gays and lesbians as perverted.
A tape of Burrell preaching at the Love & Liberty Fellowship Church began circulating online. She said that "the perverted homosexual spirit, and the spirit of delusion and confusion, it has deceived many men and women." She referred to specific homosexual acts as perverted.
Meanwhile, Burrell is scheduled to sing a duet with Pharrell next Thursday on the talk show "Ellen," where host Ellen DeGeneres is one of show business' most prominent lesbians. They are supposed to sing "I See Victory" from the soundtrack of the new movie "Hidden Figures."

Ellen is still trying to identify as a 16 year old adolescent boy..........
Homosexuality is the very definition of perversion, although in truth, it is far worse than that.
The primary goal of the homosexual agenda is to legalize sex with children. That is what they ultimately want to achieve.
Eventually, they will try to make homosexual acts mandatory among all people. This is what they consider utopia.

She’s got the right to witness wherever God jolly well leads her to go. Even Ellen.
She never said she HATED homos. In fact Christianity preaches (asserts that Jesus directed) to love your enemies.
She loves them enough to tell them that the devil has got them pinned down but Jesus will pick them back up.
The divine directive to witness knows no gender. As the formal leader of a local church congregation, I assert that the biblical thing is for a man to do it. However, couples can also minister together, like Aquila and Priscilla of the bible.

I hope we don’t get into a “tastes great/less filling” debate over bible translations in English. There are die hard King James aficionados. I’ve never met a die hard NIV aficionado yet.
The original Greek is “porneia” from which we get our modern word “pornography.” In modern times, “fornication” has come to mean illicit heterosexual activity, and “perversion” for more unnatural activities. The NIV has probably done the right thing here with 20th century modern English.
Her size is from
1. always eating
2. never moving beyond bed, bathroom and kitchen.
She will have tremendous health problems and will probably either be institutionalized for care when she ages and can't take care of herself or she will die young.
She LEARNED that behavior from family and relatives. It didn't suddenly appear at 25 years of age.
She could get all the help she needed from Weight Watchers. Weight Watchers works.

Somehow I doubt she will preach the truth to ellen on her show. She is there for the publicity.
She might not have to say anything more — it’s well known what she said. As for publicity, is that bad?

In fact, it is only partly about food... my understanding is that Bible scholars believe that gluttony implies a much broader definition and includes anything that may be necessary for life but is done to an excess and to the point where it becomes the focus of one's life. Overeating is a good example because food is after all a good thing that is necessary for survival. Sleep and relaxation are necessary for daily rejuvenation and to relieve stress but laziness is relaxation taken to an extreme. Gluttony is often used to describe people of living with a ‘sense of entitlement’, having loose morals, and being unrestrained with what they do.

Billy Graham went on the Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In show. One of the hosts asked him if he should expect a lot of criticism for being on their show, since they were known as an irreverent program.
With a smile, Billy replied, "Perhaps, but they criticized Jesus for eating with Publicans & Sinners."
At the very end of the program, with the credits starting to scroll up the screen, they asked Billy if he had "any words for all those folks out there in Television Land?"
