The curse started in January with the little-noticed passing of Crackhead Bob.

This makes me sad — I grew up with and love MASH, despite all the political stuff. I still say it’s one of the best written shows ever on TV.
RIP, Francis Mulcahy.

That same guy, in another episode, told McCahey he’d be “preaching in the stockade!”

I keep waiting for a deal on All in the Family at chinamart.
We have the Three Stooges.
Watching the old pre-PC stuff is great.

IIRC, Wayne Rogers passed exactly one year prior to William Christopher, both on December 31.

Same with my dad. He was an Army vet during Korea......but was stationed in France during the time. Never heard him laugh unless M*A*S*H was on.

He started following me on twitter for whatever reason a couple of weeks before he died.

“ITA with every thing you said! We can thank Alan Alda for the political stuff, I believe.”
And that other idiot, the guy who replaced Wayne Rogers.

Frankly I only watch the first three seasons of MASH, after Trapper and Col. Blake left, the series became the Alan Alda show and all the left wing stuff that filtered in. I absolutely despised Mike Farrell and his left wing crap, then they let the Clinger character get too much air time. He was a one trick pony that needed no more than one or two minutes of airtime. Then there was Col. Potter, he was too much also. Bottom line was the balance they had in the first three seasons left and it was never the same.

Don’t even get me started on Mike Farrell!
