NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory tweeted a video about Comet 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdušáková, which has been growing more prominent in the sky since Dec. 15. On New Year's Eve, the comet will be visible through a telescope or binoculars near the crescent moon, sporting a blueish-green head and thin, fan-shaped tail, NASA researchers said.

Comet 45P , the most colorful and easy to see comet in ages , and the Inauguration of the 45th President of the United States , Donald J. Trump ; a mere coincidence ? I don;t think so . This is God's own special blessing upon Mr. Trump and a divine message to America ( well, most of us )

Too bad I've been too busy to walk out and have a look when the skies were clear. There was a mitigating circumstance. When it is clear enough to see the comet, the temps are SUBZERO in Pocatello. We have cloud cover moving in right now. NWS forecast says 91% sky cover until about Jan 5th when it should clear to 32%. I may just miss this one.
