I don’t understand how anything Obama does right now boxes in Trump. My guess is Trump is already communicating to the Russians to not overreact because it all changes in a few weeks. Trump can reverse most things Obama has done. Of course he can’t change the UN vote and will have to find a way to deal with that.

I think he needs to go for the big enchilada myself and question the legitimacy of his Presidency. Make him prove that he was indeed eligible. Then he can do even more than just erase his legacy!!! Such an assertion wouldn’t make much sense.
He might reverse it, but in the meantime Russian diplomats will be expelled from here, and our diplomats will be expelled from there. This will still create tensions between the two countries.
From Trump it's guaranteed, and the changes will be beneficial. 8>)
