Not a hoax. She's just an extremely fragile nutcase that is having a nervous breakdown because people said mean things to her in emails. That's it, there is no actual "terrorism", and in fact the messages cited in the article aren't threats. They are just mean name calling ultimately. And because of that, she's curled up in a ball and unable to leave her home while she gripes about being a victim of terrorism, an insult to real victims of terrorists.
Simply put: she's a nut and now everyone can see it out in the open.
