Four people were arrested after a second night of violence at a Pennsylvania mall that was organized on social media. Authorities say about 200 teens converged on the Philadelphia Mills Mall Tuesday evening to start a disturbance, after planning the ruckus on Snapchat. Police were prepared for the flash mob though, after battling a smaller crowd of teens who came to start a similar disturbance the previous night. In fact, the Philadelphia Mills Mall was just one of dozens of shopping centers across the nation that were victim to such flash mobs on Monday.

“...something more sinister...”

It’s called subversion, and that’s what they’re about.

(Notice that there’s no investigation of it?”

IMHO

I hope the Trump admin starts prosecuting crap like this as domestic terrorism, which is what it is.

There is a site called deadmalls.com ...
At one point Rochester NY had 5 malls, but a few years ago two were forced to close due to thuggery just like what's occurred yesterday.
Of the three remaining malls, two experienced riots the day after Christmas - and my guess is the one closest to the city will be next to close.
As I posted earlier, a curfew and stopping the bus service to these malls from the city would go a long way to stopping all this.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is going beyond just “youth” organizing this, and something more sinister. something being fomented at high levels, to cause civil unrest, beyond isolated incidences

I wondered that too...perhaps a "test" of a much larger event, say closers to Inauguration Day?"

Perhaps it was the Russians?

Malls, a microcosm of an open door, borderless policy. End result, the mall goes out of business.

Walmart is similar with it's desire to sell to the EBT crowd. Remember that time the EBT machine broke and the Walmart grocery store was cleaned out?

Something tells me a lot of the shopping malls where these mutants are acting like baboons aren’t going to be open next Christmas.

I never let me child as a teenager go to the mall without me. If she and her friends wanted to go I took them. They had to check in with me every half hour. Since I sat at the food court they would actually go shop. If they needed more time they had to come get me and I would sit outside the store while they shopped

Great to see you Art,hope you had a Merry Christmas! Actually, this should be classified as a hate crime against white people shopping. Give them long prison sentences and it will all end really quick.

I've worked with real estate developers in my business over the years. There were two major factors that led to the transition from indoor shopping malls to the "big box" model that became common by the late 1990s:

1. Detaching stores and separating them by outdoor space discouraged a lot of casual shoppers who would just browse through the merchandise without actually buying anything.

2. Eliminating enclosed common areas reduced expenses and eliminated an unwanted element that had no business being there.

Odd. Multiple instances with hundreds of “teens” and only 4-5 arrested, juveniles mostly. Safe and they’ll be out by morning and maybe charges quietly dropped or lowered later.

These jurisdictions might be getting a phone call from Washington telling them to do something more about it when/if this happens in the future. Else they’ll lose some fed financing and surplus military toys.

Tear gas and billy clubs could curb this shiot.
