The former Bronx student who got his teacher pregnant in 2012 has confessed to police that he killed the woman and their 4-year-old boy, police sources told The Post.

Yeah, the “not guilty” squad apparently hasn’t determined if these crimes are dismissible or not dependent upon what the perpetrator looks like. Or the size of her breasts.
Anything for my neighbor and sister in Christ.
Vast differences when the woman is the perp?
I personally know of a male teen who was sexually abused by his teacher.
After the trial he committed suicide.
The age of consent varies from state to state. I believe it is 17 in NY.
You do, perhaps...
I’m married with children and I’ve taken them camping; people have asked me why I don’t involve them in scouting. I respond that I’d never trust them with other people like that, and when they ask why I then don’t get involved in scouting I respond that I’d never expose myself to fabricated allegations from other children.
The fact that a nearby scout troop (in Secaucus, NJ) is under fire for booting a girl who wants to pretend to be a boy really highlights why scouting in my area is disappearing; as foreigners replace Americans here, they bring an attitude of distrust that surely saves their children a lot of pain.
“...priapic...”
Had to look that one up thanks for the education! Another one to add to the lexicon.
Yes I agree the “not guilty” joke goes too far with the woman teacher/male student cases. I think it originallly started because some judge said in one such case a few years ago that the accused (woman) who was later convicted, shouldn’t spend any time in jail because she was “too pretty”. It pretty much snowballed from there.
But it’s gotten out of hand yes. Just for the sake of civility. It’s one thing for a bunch of guys to talk like that in a locker room but entirely different in a mixed forum.
Myself I’m on th fence. Just as a guy I can understand the arguments how it’s not as damaging for a young man as it is for a young woman. But on the other, again speaking for myself, while there may be less damage there’s still some, namely the reinforcement of the objectification of women.
So on the balance there shouldn’t be celebration about these events no matter how “hot” the teacher. But in comparison to other evils it kind of pales; I’d rather such happened to some boy (15 or older) than he be aborted for example.
But in comparison to other evils it kind of pales ...
Of course. Better than being beheaded by ISIS, killed in a surgical accident, receiving a long jail sentence for a crime of which he was innocent, etc.
We don't have to say something is good simply because it isn't the worst.
Logical fallacies...

No.
