President-elect Donald Trump was applauded and cheered by parishioners as he and his wife arrived for a Christmas Eve service around 10:30 p.m. EST at Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Florida according to reports. The church was the site of Trumps 2005 wedding to soon to be First Lady Melania Trump.

Great piece. I searched and did not see it posted here.
Thanks, and Merry Christmas.
Thank you, Kristinn - and Merry Christmas!!!
Here’s the direct link to the video without the trip to the blog:

We’re going to get a earful of “separation of church and state” from tone-deaf liberals who do not want to see Trump appear before cheering crowds in a church. Naturally they forget how Carter, the Clintons, and the Obamas routinely used churches to put out the message, gin up the vote, and listen to echoes from the pastors.
Once again, the nation has a Christian President instead of a Muzlime in hiding. God has truly been listening to HIS people’s prayers.
Let the leftists protest by gargling with peanut butter.
Oh, noes! He went to an Episcopal church. The Catholic brigade on FR will be all a-twitter.
Thanks for the Christmas gift post, Kristinn
Christmas this year is particularly joyful .... we will soon have a Christian president in the WH. I would have been standing & clapping as well if Trump had walked into my church. God has blessed our country once again .... Merry CHRISTmas, everyone!
We must educate our citizens in the time ahead on many things - our republic, the ‘separation of church and state’ fake news, states’ rights, constitutional fed gov limits, free speech and right of association. And clear away the (pubic school led) Marxist-socialist lies of the past decades.
God bless and keep President Trump.
The Episcopal Church used to have great respect for the presidents. It was once jokingly called the Republican Party at prayer..(as quoted by John Danforth both a U.S. senator as well as an Episcopal clergyman). It is a long way from that tradition now but it was fun to see the congregation respond in such a positive way.
Best. Christmas. Ever.
Trumps wins the election, the Clinton criminal political holocaust that the country has suffered through for close to 25 years is finally and permanently obliterated, AND to top it off - THE worst POTUS in US history has only 26 days left in office. Best. Christmas. Ever.
Good for them. Despite DJT’s bluster and bravado, he’s still human and it cannot hurt showing him your appreciation for fighting against the forces of the apocalypse.
He is a Presbyterian. So in my opinion attending an Episcopal Church is just fine.
If it weren’t for the internet, no one who wasn’t there would ever known.
As a Catholic, I applaud President Trump going to any Church...Christian that is...There is only ONE GOD...and there is only ONE HEAVEN...so I am mighty proud of Our President no matter what Christian Church he goes to...(and that is the Church he and Melania were married at) makes it that much more special...
Merry Christmas.
What a ridiculous comment. He isn’t Catholic and attended a non-Catholic service. Why would the Catholics on FR (I’m one of them) care? He at least attended service and is a Christian, unlike the thing that shall not be named.
Everyone please ignore humblegunner. He is never happy unless he can piss someone off.
Kristinn does more for Free Republic than that irritant hg has ever done in his life.
hg, go ahead and cry to Jim like you usually do and enjoy that lump of coal you got this year for Christmas.
You should be opening a coal mine pretty soon with all of the coal you collect each year.
Hey RATs!
There ain't no such thing as separation of church and state. The Federal government is prohibited from establishing a federal church....That's all.
Otherwise this is a Christian nation, according to the Declaration, we are "endowed by our creator" with God-given rights.
That's why the Constitution gives a "shout-out" to baby Jesus.
