The festivities will begin Jan. 19 at Arlington National Cemetery, where Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence will lay a wreath, followed by a "welcome concert" at the Lincoln Memorial.
On Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, Trump and Pence will be sworn in at the U.S. Capitol and will attend an Inaugural Parade on Pennsylvania Avenue.
That evening Pence and Trump will attend the inaugural balls.
General public viewing areas for inauguration-goers without tickets will be available at both the Lincoln Memorial welcome celebration and the Inaugural Parade.
The weekend will end with the National Prayer Service at Washington National Cathedral Jan. 21.

There should be an all-night final party with the theme of “Hit the effing Road Barack” sung around the song “Hit the Road, Jack.”
The final million plus person march should be to the White House at 11:50 AM that says “Get the F@ck out of our house!”
I can think of at least one idea for a “Bye Bye Barry” Party.
One would involve a game show using a huge vat of bright green goo. If you guess wrong, the vat of green goo is poured all over the loser. Sort of like Nickleodean Slime.
Another part of the game has Trap Doors and Ejector Seats.
Would Mrs. Obama like a demonstration of the Ejector Seat?
