When John Tereska’s Trump-voting family members open their gifts from him on Christmas Day, they will get a shock.
Inside pretty boxes they’ll find notes thanking them for making donations to organizations like Planned Parenthood and the Sierra Club that support causes expected to come under attack from the new administration.

I would laugh and tell them that they donated their own money to a liberal cause and didn’t get me anything. It might even be a “human fund” moment for all I know :)

Had a relative do that every year. I suspected she sent the charity $100 but the charity spent twice that sending out thank you cards to the countless clients, friends and relatives she named.

Oh do I have the answer. Simply contact the organization and demand a refund. Be forceful and you will get the money. Them notify your lib relative.
It is time to take drastic action against some of these people and set some behavorial standards. I have had all of this I can take. Their point of view is completely unacceptable and literally at the point of death I’m not going to accept it. Either let it go or you are literally going to start something you can’t finish.

Call the recipients, demand your money back and the deletion of your name from any donor list. Send a cease and desist order to the relative and indicate that if they do not comply, two can play this game and your donation in their name will be to the organization they most hate on the planet.

Did you notice that none of the people interviewed gave donations to the Clinton Foundation or the Clinton Global Initiative although there was one to the DNC.
You are very lucky. My husband and I are the only conservatives in my big fat Irish family. We went out of town on Thanksgiving so as not to hear the liberal wailing and weeping. Had we gone to dinner with them, I would have been a walking, talking lightening rod for their anger and despair. They leave my husband alone for some reason.
