You are very lucky. My husband and I are the only conservatives in my big fat Irish family. We went out of town on Thanksgiving so as not to hear the liberal wailing and weeping. Had we gone to dinner with them, I would have been a walking, talking lightening rod for their anger and despair. They leave my husband alone for some reason.

I DATED a liberal gal for a year. It really wasn’t what broke us up, believe it or not.
It was her father’s horror at her marrying a Catholic lol.
Which didn’t make sense because if the mother is Jewish the kids are Jewish. Oh well.
