MILAN, Dec 23 (Reuters) - The suspect in the Berlin Christmas market truck attack was killed in a pre-dawn shoot-out with police in a suburb of the northern Italian city of Milan on Friday, Italy's interior minister said. "The man killed was without a shadow of doubt Anis Amri," Marco Minniti said, referring to the 24-year-old Tunisian who is suspected of driving the truck that smashed through a Berlin market on Monday killing 12 people. Minniti told reporters that Amri was stopped by two policemen at around 3 a.m. (0200 GMT) in front of the Sesto San Giovanni train station, north of Milan.

Sadly, this was my first reaction as well ... doubt.
Sadly the terrorist world only responds to one thing, overwhelming and unrestricted force. Hopefully the world will put aside this political correctness, designed to make us one world citizens, and confront the enemy.
His fingerprints were in and on the truck (they say).
How conveeeeeeenient!
All wrapped up with a bow in time for Christmas.
There was no doubt in my mind he would not be captured alive.
Now they will go with the lone wolf theory, and miss all the enablers who will be free to plot other attacks.
I had my suitcase stolen there in1996 by a couple of them. Turkish I think but who knows for sure. Nothing crucial just some clothes my electric shaver and a pair of binoculars. I filed a report with the police at the station and hightailed it out of there. It was a shame since I had just arrived and never got to see Milan itself.
Another rabid “lone woof” bits the dust. Just in time for Christmas. The world is a better place.
So that Italian cop put a bullet in the Anis, so to speak. Good riddance.
He not only got out of Germany, he got into France, took mass transit through France, got out of France, got into Italy, and through part of Italy before being caught. Past God knows how many cops, surveillance cameras and software, and citizens.
Through Switzerland. Unfortunately that means it is easy for Switzerland to get attacked even though the Swiss have generally tried to keep the Slimes under control.
I didn’t know he went through France. But that makes sense. No border checks between Germany and France.
Per European media I’ve been reading, he had stubs for French mass transit in his pockets when they nailed him.
Schengen doesn’t require visas, but they still have border checkpoints, don’t they?? Last time I visited Europe I visited the UK but didn’t go anywhere else in the EU. Jeez louise, they gotta at least have checkpoints.
I hope there is pure bacon grease in that IV.
Either way the upcoming “normal” for Europe will be rivers of blood running through the streets.
I haven’t traveled in Europe for almost 20 years. But when I went across borders on a train back then the conductor came through and I had to self-identify as an American, show my passport and explain where I was going and what I was doing. Other people, presumably locals, did nothing.
Never mind execute those attacks.
I know he was a jihadist, and deserved death for various misdeeds, but don’t 100% believe it was him who drove the truck in Berlin. Still kinda’ think his info was planted under the seat of that truck, and could be the real bad guy got away. But, dead men tell no tales.
Note to self:
Don’t name my kids Anis...they might turn out to be a real ass.
The devil is in the details, if we ever learn what the truth really is. However, I have no qualms believing this was not a Lone Wolf attack, and it won’t stop here...
I’d suspect that if the crime scene was “salted” it would be a blue eyed, blond german versus a POS islamakazi ...... all about agendas ya know.
