Imperious progressives: Shameless sore losers

There’s very little that epitomizes the subversive deportment of powerful progressives – as well as their elitist, narcissistic perspective – more than Barack Hussein Obama’s description of the Electoral College as “a vestige” and “a carryover from an earlier vision of how our federal government was going to work.” This sage wisdom came in support of a campaign that was on at the time to convince Republican electors to disregard the outcome of our recent general election and deny Donald Trump the presidency when they cast their official ballots.

Also last week, a host of Hollywood celebrities, no doubt at the behest of losing Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton and the White House, voiced their support for the move to confound the Electoral College certification via a truly embarrassing public service announcement.

Not much longer now. Ain't winning awesome even if there's some speed bumps on the way to the goal line? How about that "quaint" electoral college thing huh? And guess who ended up with fewer votes. DEEEEEE-licious. Then we have the pompous moochie just putting it out there to okra wimpfree that if Melania needs any help transitioning to the position of first lady, moochie;s door is open. I guess because Melania, poor thing may or may not be capable of just moving right in. Yeah, that Melania. The one that speaks 5 languages and started her own business. (Well, probably she didn't start it. No. Somebody else did that.)

To be fair (and I DO NOT like her), she said First Lady Bush offered the same to her and she was jut passing it on.

There’s so many really good reasons to dislike her, this is at the bottom :)

The first speed bump was the INCREDIBLY false 3.5 percent growth narrative this morning, which will be used to trash Trump when the REAL numbers or worse FAKE numbers come out next time.

Too bad there’s not a way to fire yellen or dismantle the Federal Reserve.

“Also last week, a host of Hollywood celebrities,”
Celebrities and sports stars - we pay you to entertain us. We do not spend our money to give you the idea that you are so important that your opinion on how the world should be run matters to us.
You are entitled to your opinions. Not the self importance our money seems to give you. Shut up and entertain us.

Sadly, they are afforded a platform to screech and preach at us “deplorables” that most of us will never have access to. But, if you have to sell your soul to get there, I’ll keep mine.

One thing I learned as a liberal, and part of what ultimately turned me off the leftward path, was that all reality was situational. So, the “vestige” of the Electoral College would have been a “bulwark” supporting our American way of life had it gone Hillary’s way.

I have NO memory of Laura Bush going out and speaking about “hopelessness” nor can I remember ONE negative comment from her about the then-President-elect Obama. One the other hand, Michelle Obama is publicly lamenting the hopelessness that awaits us in the Trump presidency and predicting how we are going to miss having an adult in the White House after her oh, so, mature husband leaves office. That last, especially, should be part of a stand up comedy routine, it’s so hilarious. I see no comparison between the conduct of thetwo First Ladies.

Exactly. They are modern day court jesters, paid fools. They may have good looks and some talent at remembering lines or handling a ball or some such... But in the end, they are as you say entertainers. It's not what I consider "real" work - I'm sure it is difficult and requires skill and innate talent etc. But consider, if there never was another sitcom aired, or if no wide receiver ever ran another route ... would we really care? If no-one ever never welded another ship hull, or never framed another home wall - people would notice.

So sure, they are fun and entertaining, but they take themselves far too seriously. That in and of itself can be entertaining at times. The fact that they don't even realize we are then laughing at them, not with them, brings the amusement to a whole new level...

The first speed bump was the INCREDIBLY false 3.5 percent growth narrative this morning, which will be used to trash Trump when the REAL numbers or worse FAKE numbers come out next time.

That is why I suggest that part of Trump's- excuse me, President Trump's inauguration speech should go something like this:

"The numbers for unemployment and growth of the economy are the same today as they were yesterday, and they're not what you've been told. The actual figures are ____ and ___. As you can see, they are far from what you've heard from those with an agenda. That will be corrected from now on; you're going to get the straight numbers. Then you will be able to accurately judge our performance, regardless of what our detractors try to sell you."

The left did their petty best to deligitimize the Donald Trump victory but all they really did was expose their small-minded mentality and cry wolf far too many times. Now when they bleat far less people will lesson. They kicked their own ass.

I tried to e-mail it to one of the Trump fund raising e-mail addresses in my archive by hitting "reply", to be passed along. It came back undeliverable. Anyone have an address that will actually make contact with the campaign/transition team?

Thanks- I don't FB or TW. Though I guess it might be safer to do so when the adults take over.
