Hundreds of residents gathered at Al Azizieh Square in western Aleppo on Tuesday, to watch the Christmas tree lights being turned on, in an attempt to establish some sense of normality in a city that has been a focal point of the Syrian conflict.

The Western media want you to believe NOT what you can see from Aziziya neighborhood in Aleppo. Mind you, this area of Aleppo is multi-confessional (Sunni, Shia, Christian, et. al). In this clip you see Syrian, Russia, Lebanese, and Hizbullah flags at the Christmas celebration (there are Lebanese Christian members of Hizbullah). For many decades we've been on the side of this head-choppers who slaughtered Christians. That was due to neocons controlling all foreign policy. Their interests are not our interests, and certainly not in the interest of Christians in the Middle East who have been slaughtered and persecuted as a result of this neocon foreign policy. Correct. Although this should be obvious to Freepers everywhere I don't think it has really sunk in yet.

So keep posting. In particular you should post any good, reliable sources you have for the real story of what is going on in Syria. We are not hearing the truth and the truth is hard to find.

Personally I'm betting that Eva Bartlett is closer to the truth than anything we are going to get from the MSM.

Thanks to Juan McStain and lindseed Graham the US is backing the Syrian rebels from which ISIS originally formed.

Yeah, but GW Bush also allowed the Saudis off the hook, allowed record number of Mohammedans into the U.S. (not to mention illegals), and had a policy which was jihad-supporting by default. And he decimated Christians in the Middle East. Obama is a horrible monster, but his unwillingness to go forward with full-scale attack on the Syria government on behalf of the jihadis (the red line), as the majority of establishment conservatives wanted, is a good thing. I have no doubt that had GW Bush been in office in the past 4 years we'd have another destroyed country and a jihadi land in what is now Syria. He would've continued Clean Break. Fortunately Trump sees the folly of the neocon foreign policy and will reverse it.
