TMZ Sports has obtained arrest video showing NFL wide receiver Michael Floyd PASSED OUT behind the wheel of his SUV while in traffic ... and it's disturbing.
The footage was shot around 2:48 AM on Monday morning when cops noticed Floyd's Cadillac Escalade was stopped at a green traffic light ... and didn't move for two cycles.
When cops approached the car, you can see Floyd completely zonked out in the front seat with his mouth open. Officers banged on the window to wake him up and he was completely discombobulated. Floyd had no idea where he was at or what time it was ... and gave conflicted answers on what he had to drink earlier that night. Floyd does cop to drinking wine ... but can't keep his story straight about how many glasses he drank and where he drank ... at one point saying he drank on the Cardinals team flight from Miami to AZ. Eventually, cops arrested Floyd for DUI. During the arrest, they realize he's an NFL player. Cops also note Floyd was carrying exactly $666 in his wallet at the time of the bust.

My Brother-in-law did the same thing......................same result...............
The NFLPA has what amounts to a free Uber service for players in every NFL market. They always have a DD within 30 minutes. Just an idiot.
What is a DD?
Designated Driver
DD I presume designated driver. When we go out with friends I am the designated defense.
Picked up on waivers by the Patriots

>>The Patriots made a bit of a splash last week when they claimed former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd off waivers.
Floyd, who was cut by the Cardinals following a DUI arrest, traveled with the Patriots to Denver for yesterday’s 16-3 win but was inactive. That was not a surprise, as it always takes some time for a new player to get acclimated to the playbook.
Ahh,yeah that makes sense. I didn’t know they had that available to NFL players. Given how they party it makes sense for teams or NFL to provide an alternative to driving.

>>SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Notre Dame suspended star wide receiver Michael Floyd indefinitely Monday, a day after he was cited for drunken driving and authorities said his blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
Coach Brian Kelly said the suspension will not be lifted until Floyd changes his behavior and both the legal and university discipline procedures run their course.
It was Floyd’s third run-in with the law over alcohol since 2009.
Designated driver.
Lucky he didn’t kill someone.
He got cut by the Arizona Cardinals?

The catch is that they will only drive them home or to a hotel. In other words from strip club to strip club won’t work.
Sounds like this guy needs some serious help with an alcohol addiction. I hope he gets it before he kills someone else.
Its ok, the NFL will excuse most anything except beating women and saluting dead cops.
The best defense I've ever heard of is when a party of dudes is at a bar, the local constabulary will usually stake out the place at closing time.
One guy is designated as the point man. Sometimes two guys. He/they will exit the place before everyone else and put on a good show of trying to find their car while weaving and bobbing...fumbling for keys and making a general mess of finding the road. This person or persons will, of course, have had no alcohol all night.
When they hit the roadway, the police will follow and make the appropriate traffic stop. While this happens the rest of the party-goers will leave and drive away in the opposite direction.
