A new congressional investigation has determined that the Obama administration fired a top scientist and intimidated staff at the Department of Energy in order to further its climate change agenda, according to a new report that alleges the administration ordered top officials to obstruct Congress in order to forward this agenda.
Rep. Lamar Smith (R., Texas), chair of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, released a wide-ranging report on Tuesday that shows how senior Obama administration officials retaliated against a leading scientist and plotted ways to block a congressional inquiry surrounding key research into the impact of radiation.
A top DoE scientist who liaised with Congress on the matter was fired by the Obama administration for being too forthright with lawmakers, according to the report, which provides an in-depth look at the White House’s efforts to ensure senior staffers toe the administration’s line.
The report also provides evidence that the Obama administration worked to kill legislation in order to ensure that it could receive full funding for its own hotly contested climate change agenda. . .

I had a little disagreement with my brother in law over the “climate change” BS. It started when I picked up a magazine on his table (Scientific American, maybe) that stated how bad climate change was going to be.
I quipped that a science magazine ought to know better than to claim global warming when it was, in fact, a lie. He disagreed.
I told him, point blank, show me the science. Show the evidence, untainted. Show the proof. He couldn’t, of course. My sister intervened before I had a chance to get too riled up.

I admire you. Global warming is a religious. But instead of a living God, it is total bull shit. We must show it no mercy and all those that espouse it must be humiliated by us. They must be crushed. I was living in Bloomington, IL when the windmill windfall came in. They were paying $5000 per year to farmers to allow them. They sprung up all over the place.
I would notice on many days when it was hot, and absolutely no wind, the windmills would turn, all of them. I got to thinking that there is no way there is wind just 100 feet off the ground, moving those things, and most likely that batteries are keeping them moving.
Not only a terrible eye sore, but in efficient.
Obama put lackeys in every corner of his administration. I heard today, that the average years was something like 19 in gov’t. Trump’s is around 6.8 years in gov’t.
I see these guys cutting, cutting and cutting, and making us more efficient.

It is a fact that NOAA has “adjusted” the temperatures in the historic record to make it appear that it was cooler 100 years ago. The actual numbers show that it was warmer in the 1930s than it is currently. The actual numbers didn't fit the theory so they changed the numbers. This has been done before and you are correct... it is called fraud.
So that’s how they get “Settled Science” - they just settle any scientist’s hash who gets in the way. Sigh.
I recently heard a story that the north pole was expected to be 50 degrees warmer than normal this year, I find it hard to believe, think I will take a plane flight to the north pole and do some temp readings to confirm it, maybe I can get some vacation time and put it all on my credit card
Global warming is a religion of the globalist elite who wish to control and tax every activity of man. The greens are simply useful dupes for the plot that seeks centralized government control levying taxes on the activity as well as crony capitalist ventures into green energy and other such nonsense. They pick the winners and everyone else is a loser.
Not only can they not prove AGW, they cannot explain how a mild temperature increase is beneficial to mankind just as an increase in CO2 is beneficial. It is the biggest lie ever told. They have tried to morph it into “climate change” now that it is obvious to anyone with two brain cells that the last decade has not consisted of “warmest years on record.”
