Russia's ambassador to Turkey has been assassinated allegedly in retaliation for the crisis in Aleppo.
The gunman reportedly said in Turkish "We die in Aleppo, you die here" before opening fire and injuring Ambassador Andrei Karlov.

The Turkey that joined NATO was the creature of Kemal Ataturk. It was a nation that wanted to be part of the West, and was critical to protecting the southern flank of NATO.
That Turkey is on life support. Erdogan rejects Ataturk’s legacy in favor of trying to replace that Turkey and recreate the Ottoman Empire with himself as Sultan.

I have been paying attention. Recall the leading Russian opposition figure was murdered in the very shadow of the Kremlin a while back. KGB Vlad didn’t miss a beat. Arrested a few nobody Chechens and moved on. We should expect the same standard of justice of him here.

The Russians did a great job backing the sovereign government against the terrorist in Aleppo. The media wants to be maudlin about the “innocent “ civilians in Aleppo are dying or hungry. BUT. What are WE doing in MOSUL?? Mosul has over 1.2 MILLION civilians getting the very same shelling and air force bombing that the Russians and Syrians did. Where is the outrage in Mosul? Why the double standard? Anyone explain this? Please.
