President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will be transitioning from being players to coaches.
The soon-to-be former president and ex-first lady plan to stay involved in the Democratic Party — and, in an interview with NPR, are now pledging to develop talent as scouts and coaches.
“I’m less likely to get involved in all the nuts and bolts of electioneering. In that realm, I’m much more likely to just give advice,” President Obama said in the radio interview.
“What I am interested in is just developing a whole new generation of talent,” he said, citing people who worked on his campaign and “issues like climate change or conservation, criminal justice reform, you know, campaigns for a livable wage, or health insurance.”
Obama said he’ll be joined in his effort by his wife.
“That’s something that I think I can do well, I think Michelle can do well. That’s part of what makes me optimistic about our future because I know those young people are out there ready to lead, and when they start moving into more and more positions of authority, then I think the issues that I care most deeply about are going to be well served,” he said.

I don’t know about “supposed to” but so far, we’ve had all but one (Clinton) who were classy enough to know they were done and got on with their lives and let us get on with ours. I think our luck has run out. What is it with democrat former presidents that they can’t just fade into the sunset or retreat back into their caves? Carter has always had to put in his two cents worth but not to the extent that Clinton has and obozo will.

Since that was how Obama was recruited, he believes he can work the same “magic”.
As I believe this quote affirms, Obama is basically lazy and arrogant. He's not really interested in doing any hard work, he just wants to sit on his throne, be king maker, and dispense his pronouncements to all who will pay tribute to him.

On January 20, 2017 at noon, the Secret Service and all other Federal police will suddenly stop obeying you and start obeying our God fearing Patriot, Donald John Trump.
Well, boy, you have never proved you are in the US legally, as President, Mr. Trump has promised us that he is going to immediately have illegals, especially terrorist and gang bangers, like you, arrested.
Without a doubt he is gong to authorize AG Jeff Season to investigate PizzaGate, you have never shown proof that those two little girls are yours as daughters.
My suggestion to you is to RUN. Run now while you can, for at any time after noon Jan 20, 2017 he can say to your SS detail, “Arrest him!” I assure you, barak, the cheering will be deafening.
Run now while you can, but leave those two girls here, the PizzaGate investigators are going to want to talk to them.
Let me help. Look for the hardest left, fringe of the universe candidates you can find. That’s clearly what the American people want.
The more the Obamas control the party, the more of an extremist and thus marginalized party it will be. (Or so I hope, at least.)

The Bushes are still meddling with the GOP, for the worse, however.
In the just-completed contest the Democratic Party exhibited a pitiful lack of energy within the party. Compare the Democrat’s three or four pitiful entries into the race with the Republican’s sixteen pretty spiffy guys and gals.
The Obama’s want to officially change the Democrat Party into a Socialist Party in actuality, although they may call it by another name. There are some Dems who democrat because that is the way they have always voted - but in the future it will be a socialist party, without question - perhaps Communist, like Jones, an avowed Communist.
We should just hand them the shovel ... but wait, BJ and the missus might have staked out that territory for themselves.
Bo has close connections with organized crime, queers, Muslims, and perveyors of hatred for white Americans.
I think he reads things that confirm his biases, and scans things that do not — only in order to formulate counter-arguments based on misrepresentation of differing views. His acolytes declare him brilliant based on the evidence of this shallow scanning.
Indeed and the fact they said if you want to see what’s in the bill you have to pass it that was the coffin closer.
