They are televising this in certain states so that the loons will know in which Trump-carried states to assemble and disrupt the process. I expect PA and MI events to turn into bedlam with protestors throwing bags of urine and feces, having a sit in, and then having to be dragged out of the chamber. Violence probably will be attempted by some. Their goal is to prevent votes from being cast from Trump states.
Let me clarify, the Nation hasn’t done it but the propaganda arm of the DNC sure has.

Same law also says that Michigan electors meet at 2 PM ET. Not sure how C-Span has it scheduled for 3 hours earlier.
I don't see any restrictions on PA electors voting choice. But PA law says they are supposed to meet at Noon. Again, not sure why C-Span comes on and hour earlier?

I suspect we’ll know by tomorrow evening, as this is being scrutinized even more closely than 2000.
