EVERY December, more than 1,000 female high school students, some as young as 15, take part in a “bikini competition” held in the eastern Chinese city of Qingdao. The event, hosted by Oriental Beauty, a modelling agency, provides a platform for aspiring flight attendants to show off their bikini bodies to eager recruiters from the Chinese airline industry. Those deemed the most attractive are invited to join a fast-track flight attendant trainee scheme, which can open the door to a dream job at one of China’s big airlines.

They do have height, weight, age requirements.

I haven't flown Thai since 2006. At that time the girls really were.
I hit on only one of them on that flight. She looked like the twin of my 2nd Thai wife, except younger.

Let’s form a committee to micromanage the hiring practices of Asia airliners. Perhaps we can get the U.N. involved. This is the major problem of the modern world: people sticking their noses in where they don’t belong. I suspect that J.Y. is on the unattractive side. If an airline pays attention to such matters they are probably paying attention to manners and grooming. “In today’s world hetero attraction is a disgusting criminal perversion.” Only in the decedent West. “Better to hire a hairy legged Feminist in baggy shorts, who smokes heavily and smells like mothballs.” Has anyone watched TV lately?
