It's Official: Clinton's Popular Vote Win Came Entirely From California
Investor's Business Daily ^ | December 16, 2016 | John Merline

Democrats who are having trouble getting out of the first stage of grief — denial — aren't being helped by the fact that, now that all the votes are counted, Hillary Clinton's lead in the popular vote has topped 2.8 million, giving her a 48% share of the vote compared with Trumps 46%.

To those unschooled in how the United States selects presidents, this seems totally unfair. But look more closely at the numbers and you see that Clinton's advantage all but disappears.

As we noted in this space earlier, while Clinton's overall margin looks large and impressive, it is due to Clinton's huge margin of victory in one state — California — where she got a whopping 4.3 million more votes than Trump.

California is the only state, in fact, where Clinton's margin of victory was bigger than President Obama's in 2012 — 61.5% vs. Obama's 60%.

But California is the exception that proves the true genius of the Electoral College — which was designed to prevent regional candidates from dominating national elections.

Instead of abolishing the Electoral College, abolish California. Extend the wall!

I am convinced that based on the popular vote, Hillary will try again in 2020.

Abolishing the ec would give far less americans representation. They would only campaign in the major city states and could ignore hundreds of millions of americans.

Popular vote is subjective. Trump won over 3000 counties, Hillary got only 57.

The popular vote won 57 counties. It would ignore the over 3000 counties who voted against hillary. Over 99% of counties said no to Hillary. Talk about high negatives.

Look I was born and raised in California I was living there up to 6 months ago

Of course the illegal aliens vote they vote by the millions.

The State of California is completely out of control of course one of the problems is what the Federal 9th circus did with prop 187

Honestly what I really think need to happened is the federal need to seized California like the did the Confederate States and kick the the illegal aliens out then hold new elections in the state for state government .... effectively the Dem via illegal aliens vote 0have disenfranchised American citizens in that state

California started registering illegal aliens to vote when they gave them drivers licenses.
Until California stops enabling fraudulently documented foreigners we should cut off all funding.

let’s have fun with numbers
we can make ‘em dance....

Instead of California, how about these 3 ?
Hillary
NY +1732872
IL +944714
NJ +546345
for a total +3223921 ?

I think the term “margin”is misused here.
Winning by a higher % is different than winning with a larger margin.

Illinois had a larger margin for Hillary than for Obama.
2016 (55.47 To 38.51 =+16.96) Illinois gave Hillary a bigger margin than Obama got in 2012(57.5 to 40.66 = +16.84)

Plus Illinois gave Hillary more PV in 2016 than Obama got in 2012.
Same with NY.
Same with NJ.
She got more votes losing FL than Obama got in winning FL.

Feel free to add to it....

And the Hispanic population in California, whether or not all legal, now dominate the population...somewhere in the low 50 percentile, where all the rest of the population are in the high 40 percentile. Eventually, most of the Ca. legislators voted in will be Hispanic, and sympathetic to their constituents’ needs. The state then will always commit their vote to those espousing Hispanic benefits, both in California and in Presidential elections.

Yep.

Besides there are 50 separate popular votes on election day. Donald won 30 out of 50 of those votes, and really if Detroit’s fraud for HRC is any indication, he probably one more states like Nevada. I’m looking at you Clark County.

Hell, in California illegals get their own special high speed lane st the DMV.

You are correct—They can get drivers licenses and California does not require ID to vote.

I was joking about the high speed lane. I think.

I lived in Illinois for 49 years. There’s so much voter fraud in Chicago, it wipes out the rest of the state, which is mostly conservatives.
