Muslims come in different flavors. Like Christians come in different flavors. Latin American Christians are very different than European Christians, than American baptists.
Muslims are very different too. I think of three flavors that Obama has had to deal with. There are the American and Asian Muslims that are sort of peaceful. Then there are the black Muslims who are more black than Muslim. They tend to be more of an American thing. Then there are the Arabs. With two sects, both are violent. One more violent than the other.
Obama was never really familiar with the Arabs. He thought he was. But he was wrong. Obama has been wrong about so much. But Muslims are something he has had only partial experience with. He did not understand the Arabs at all.
As a smarmy academic with Kenyan, American and Indonesian backgrounds he thought he was well aware of Islam and all its people. Nope. He had no idea. And like a college professor he tried to treat the world as he supposed it was. And not how it truly was. Like a man who trains dogs for a living, runs into a wolf pack and thinks he can handle them.
Ellison is a Nation of Islam Muslim. Obama has never really trusted that group. They are like a gang from New York to Chicago, barely inside the law. They hate democrats. They hate white people. And they think they need to fend for themselves. They hate weak black people. Obama loves to feed on and control the weak, the guilt-ridden, and the agencies that control them.
Ellison is the wrong kind of Muslim for Obama. And he is the wrong kind of black person. Ellison will end up making it a black party. Or at least an anti-white party. Its almost there. Obama screwed up and alienated many whites. But Ellison will just kick them out.
