The sore-loser, liberal-left last-ditch desperate attempt to undo the victory of Donald J. Trump (R) as president by begging the Republican electors to
cast their ballots for failed glass ceiling breaker Hillary R. Clinton (D) has gone bizarre. Second-rate Hollywood entertainment types, who along with their A-list colleagues underwrote part of Clinton's campaign, are pontificating to backwoods, simpleton (to them) Republican electors to abandon their duty and do Hollywood's duty and vote for Clinton in a truly laughable ad.
Their website urging Republicans to defect is mysteriously registered in a foreign country.
Why don't they just go away as promised? Oh yeah, Canada and Australia don't want them, and they don't want the Cuban paradise they advocate for others.
But, taking the liberal-lefties' tactics to heart, I have a modest suggestion: Democratic electors, show your courage and admit the error of your ways. Cast your ballot for Donald J. Trump (did I mention he is a Republican?) when the Electoral College meets this week! According to the Democrats, you can do it! Okay, if that is too much for you, write in Bernie Sanders (ondependent posing as a Democrat)--you know you want to. Or Dr. Jill Stein (Green). Or even Gary Johnson, who finally learned about the horrors of Aleppo thanks to the red line Syria and Iran and Russia crossed without any word from President Obama (D).
If you do this, you will contribute to making America great! (You do want that, don't you?) You will help unify America! (Oh, diversity!)
And you will prevent an unqualified person, whose only credential for the job is being the legal consort of a president who demeaned women.

Another strong argument for Democrat electors voting for Trump would be the finger in the eye it would give to the GOP establishment.

Can you imagine being a Democrat elector having to cast a meaningless electoral vote for Hillary Clinton? Talk about an exercise in futility.
This too will fail, and then the dems will turn to something else. Riots for the inauguration. Threats. The dems are morally bankrupt. They have no principles. They have no ethics. They have no morals.
In 2020 Trump will have earned around 356 after he’s made America great again. Add Minnesota, New Hampshire, Maine, Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico to what he has this year. The liberal left will go crazy when Trump wins in a massive landslide.
The Democrat electors do not have to vote for Trump; they just have to vote for someone legally qualified for the office. Hillary is disqualified by statute law from holding federal office, because of the publicly know, self-admitted facts about her private server and willful mishandling of classified documents while SoS. Electors who vote for Hillary for the federal office of President are flaunting the clear intent of the law. She would not pass an investigation for the lowest level of security clearance.
A few of these liberal electors will vote for their favorite socialist, Bernie Sanders.

Presidential elections in America would deteriorate to a lamented memory. The elections would simply be electors taken hostage at gunpoint, bribed or blackmailed.

I can see that in 2020, can’t you? Given his start BEFORE being inaugurated, I wouldn’t be surprised to see several other “blue wall” states, i.e., MN, and some of the smaller New England states, switch to Trump. Who knows? He might carry NY and CA if their state govts keep grinding them down while Trump lifts the rest of country and follows thru as expected on promises to deport illegals and build the wall.
