$1 MILLION for candlelit dinner with Melania - but it won't be alone: meal is highlight of big-money events at inauguration (full title.)

Leaked documents showing the donation packages for Donald Trump's inauguration outline a number of events that will take place that week.

Million dollar donors will have access to things like a 'candlelight dinner' with Melania Trump and a 'leadership lunch' with cabinet appointees.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee laid out perks for those willing to donate $25,000 to $1 million to fund Trump's January 2017 inauguration.

In 2013, President Obama capped donations at $250,000, but also had special packages for those willing to give the most money.

Inaugural events will kick off on January 17, with the swearing-in and inaugural balls taking place on January 20

I’ll bet all or most of that money ends up benefiting the vets directly or indirectly.

No sir:

The Presidential Inaugural Committee has rolled out a list of perks for those Donald Trump supporters willing to dole out $25,000 to $1 million for the upcoming inauguration.
The most notable highlight: a ‘candlelight dinner,’ with the future president and the incoming first lady, Melania Trump, along with Vice President-elect Mike Pence and his wife Karen. Only those giving $250,000 and up will get access to this special event.

Other events scheduled for only the most monied of Trump donor include a ‘ladies lunch,’ which will presumably feature Ivanka Trump in addition to her step-mom, a vice president’s dinner, a victory reception, an inaugural concert with fireworks, the inaugural parade and access to an inaugural ball.

Only million dollar donors will get tickets to a ‘leadership luncheon,’ which promises face time with select cabinet appointees and House and Senate leaders.
Tickets to the swearing-in ceremony – considered the main event – aren’t part of these packages, as they’re doled out through members of Congress, but the inaugural committee promises that high-dollar donors will have access to those too.

Various ticket packages at the end of the article.

Money goes to the inauguration events which are privately funded.

Quite frankly, it was worth every penny I gave the Trump campaign just for the entertainment over the last month.

Inauguration balls are part of Washington's history. Obama had ‘em so did everyone... It's only ‘news’ because the press wants to play it like corruption because they hate Trump.

The events are slated to kick off on January 17- January 20. The official inaugural balls will then take place that night.

The donations are needed to cover the cost of the inauguration, so it’s not paid for completely on the back of taxpayers. Trump’s committee, which is separate from both his campaign and his transition, is being let by a longtime friend of the billionaire president-elect, Tom Barrett, a private equity investor.

Trump’s committee is hoping to raise $75 million to go toward the January 2017 ceremony.

8 tickets for the million - and from the article:

The donations are needed to cover the cost of the inauguration, so it's not paid for completely on the back of taxpayers.

Just The Donald's way of letting the rich foot the bill instead of the taxpayer.
