A young boy tried to set off a nail bomb at a Christmas market in Ludwigshafen, but the device failed to detonate, prosecutors have confirmed.
The boy, a German citizen of Iraqi heritage, attempted to blow up the device at the Ludwigshafen Christmas market on November 26th. When the device failed to detonate he gave up, before trying again on December 5th, prosecutors said on Friday.
This time he took the explosive device, hidden in a rucksack filled with nails, and placed it in a bush near the town hall.
Fortunately a pedestrian spotted the bag and alerted police, who then had specialists carry out a controlled explosion, Focus magazine reported on Thursday, citing security sources.
The 12-year-old, born in the town in Rhineland-Palatinate in 2004, had been radicalized and was encouraged to carry out the attack by an as-yet unknown member of the Isis terror group, according to Focus.
According to an earlier report by police investigators, the powder in the homemade bomb had been created out of the ingredients of fireworks and sparklers and was flammable but not explosive.
Because the boy is under 13 he cannot be tried for a crime. Instead youth workers have been assigned to care for him.
Federal prosecutors are however investigating the possibility that a terror network supported the attempted attack.
Revoke his citizenship and that of his entire family and repatriate them to the muzloid hellhole which spawned them.

Actually, he should have been summarily executed. There is no possibility of rehabilitation for this kind of animal.
It appears the "foreign guests" have figured out how to beat the German legal system. Just send in the legally under aged kids. If they fail (or succeed), they are released. They can just go do it again,... and again,... and again....

Weihnachtsmärkt, or Kristkindl, or Christmas Markets in German cities are one of the traditions that I wish had come over with all the 18th and 19th century immigrants. Walking round in the cold air bundled up through the town square past all the little craft stands, looking for unique and not-too-expensive gifts (and maybe sipping a warm cup of gluhwein) is an annual treat. You see a lot of happy families, so naturally it’s one of the things that causes outrage and envy among the newly arrived orcs.
Attempted mass murder and destruction is only a crime if 13 or over.
