---(snip)--
"Three of these discussions were held earlier this year, with participants sharing the goals of creating greater understanding and trust, reducing polarization, encouraging discussion and improving communication. Common ground has been identified, including agreement that penalties need to be raised for violations against our states concealed carry law. Several Republican state representatives and a local Republican elected official participated in these conversations, and we thank them for that."

rather let’s look at the fact that schools won’t protect your kids by arming teachers- or even guards in the school- let’s look at how the school failed the parents of the victims and then tried to blame the right to own guns for the tragedy

We recognize that in the past, this issue has been politically contentious, but we believe that gun violence affects children across our state, both in urban and rural communities. For example, the CDC reported that in 2014, 18 people between the ages of 10 and 18 committed suicide with a firearm in Wisconsin.
Let's just pass a law making suicide illegal.

Democrats know that murderers obey strict gun laws, and are particularly deterred by “Gun Free Zone” stickers on a window.

If we take guns away from guys in Nebraska, thugs in Chicago will stop shooting one another ...
This is the Jabberwocky school of lefty thought that elected Donald Trump. When your enemy is digging himself deeper into a hole, let him dig.

The bastards on the left are keeping “Sandy Hook” alive as a rallying point for those who want to take guns from non-violent people.

In other words, let’s pretend like we haven’t been talking about gun control on a weekly - if not daily basis - for years.

Wow, a Sandy Hook thread with 12 replies and no mention of “crisis actors” or kids making “satanic hand signals” yet.

We put armed guards in our banks to protect our money, yet we refuse armed guards in schools to protect our children.
Yes we are that stupid.

Yes. Sandy Hook was tragic and terrible. But the demographics of Chicago and Detroit kill that many on a warm summer weekend. It ain’t the guns doing the killing.

“neighboring states” and shoot each other-—
