Phony. Turkey, the Saudis, the Qataris, and State Department decided to overthrow Assad, and recruited jihadis from all over to do it. They armed them, trained them, financed them, a Turkish general directs the war and the Turks themselves occasionally intervene when they think they have to.
Their proxies have blown up a Russian civilian airliner full of people. Their proxies are slaughtering Christians and driving them out of the middle east... but these people are not eligible for refugee status in the US per State Department rules.

The reality is that many innocents have been slaughtered in this catastrophe and many - including Obama and Clinton and Kerry - have blood on their hands. Ambassador Power was condemning Russia for their participation and support of attacks upon civilians in Aleppo. Russia does not do precision strikes like we strive to do. They simply consider massive civilian casualties as the cost of doing business and accept it.
