Hardly unarmed. Maybe naked, but he had two arms.
One guy,at least 4 cops and the guy was not really resisting.So what if he was stoned and slow to respond to orders-putting the dog on him was at the least simply lazy,or worse sadistic.
Poor dog. It took him 3 denta-bones to get the taste of that naked guy out of his mouth.

There was a great segment from the COPS tv show.
I think it was in Florida.
They were arresting a muscular white guy for dealing drugs.
The guy broke free and ran.
The police literally cornered him.
Turns out the guy was a Black Belt.
He started kicking the crap out of about five policeman.
Up walks a deputy with his K-9.
Kind of skinny.
Him and the dog are there watching the fight.
I think that dog was just sitting there.
Well, Bob Black Belt decides that anyone with a badge is fair game, so he steps out and kicks the K-9 deputy.
Bad move.
The deputy dropped the leash.
You could see the German Sheperd say, “Why, you dirty son-of-a-bitch!”
That dog tore into Bob Black Belt.
It looked like one of those cartoons with the Tasmanian Devil.
The dog went up one side and down the other, biting all the time.
When it was done, Bob Black Belt was standing there holding a piece of his shorts to cover himself and softly whimpering.
I was laughing so hard I fell out of my chair.
The cops were 100% wrong.
They should be fired and charged.
Where do they get these sadistic cops from, and who hires them, and why?
Everyone remember this video next time LEOs hold a bagpiped Amazing Grace funeral for their “Officer” Rover that got shot while trying to bite somebody...and expect John Q. Public to mourn for the vicious beast.
The man admits he was partially responsible. He was on LSD. The police officers were going to have to use some kind of force because he wasn’t going to comply. Perhaps a Taser or baton would have been a better option. I imagine they brought the dog because he was naked. The lack of clothing makes a non-compliant suspect harder to subdue.
Anyway, he gets a $385,000 settlement, but hardly worth it after considering the lawyer’s fee and medical costs. I bet he thinks twice before doing LSD again.

Let me guess: They sic’d the dog on him because he wouldn’t put his hands up, but he wouldn’t put his hands up in order to protect “himself” from the dog?
