Pelosi’s Daughter Leads Effort To Block Trump Through Electoral College
By Valerie Richardson - December 12, 2016 The accusations of Russian interference in the November presidential election have provided a last-minute lifeline for the long-shot effort to head off Donald Trump at the Electoral College.
Ten electors, led by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s daughter Christine Pelosi, demanded Monday an intelligence briefing on Russian interference by Monday, when the Electoral College makes the vote official.
Flipping the Electoral College seems to be the only hope left for Trump opponents. Recount efforts in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania have backfired.
The Progressive Change Campaign Committee urged Trump opponents to participate in a protest scheduled for all 50 state capitols Monday aimed at persuading electors to cast their ballots for someone other than the Republican real estate mogul.
“The idea that a foreign government has interfered with our elections to undermine their credibility, much less support one of the candidates, indicates a Rubicon has been crossed for our nation, and we need to consider it carefully,” Chris Suprun, a Texas Republican elector, said at a Sunday press conference. Even before Friday’s news reports, Mr. Suprun had vowed not to cast his ballot for Mr. Trump.
(snip) With the Electoral College vote just days away, however, organizers of the small yet unprecedented drive to upend the results of the Nov. 8 presidential race seized upon the reports, saying they show foreign influence tainted the election.
The group Hamilton Electors, which is urging both Democratic and Republican electors to unite behind a third candidate, preferably a moderate Republican, said this “is the moment Alexander Hamilton warned us about.”

Trump will be elected by the College. But thwarting Trump is not the point. Turning electors is. Because if they can swing one or two on this go ‘round, the precedent will be set that electors can be flipped and the ‘rats will try even harder the next time they lose the general. (Or even if they win. No win is too great for them.) So in 20 years, in the fifth cycle, you may see an election where the electoral vote hardly resembles the will of the people and the losing candidate in all ways imaginable “wins” through applying pressure and flipping electors in the College vote.

Sigh. this whole GOP EV fake revolt agitprop being genned up by the fake stream media is the exact same fake news agitprop the fake stream media genned up during the GOP convention: for weeks they pounded the “delegates are revolting against Trump” drum: Kendal Unruh, Curly Hoagland, blah blah blah, fake news, blah blah blah. Naturally, nothing came of it and the GOP convention came off with a hitch (unlike the actual chaos as the Dem convention NOT reported by the fake stream media).
Now we have a “massive” revolt of ONE rogue elector: Chris Suprun, which has genned up 32 gazillion fake news stories.
Exactly the same thing will be the case on 12/19/2016 with the EV vote as was the case of the “GOP convention revolt” against Trump: the EV vote will go off without a hitch, despite all of the huffing and puffing and sturming und dranging of the fake stream media.

I have a very bad feeling we are witnessing the prelude to CW. They are desperate, they are unyielding, and apparently aren’t going to give up.
It is amazing how rich senators and representatives become once elected or how rich they were before being elected. Somehow this is not what I was taught about our “representatives”. Where, oh, where have I been mistaught?
Please name me the name of the person who represents all of us who “live” on SS. Please name one person who is interested in us. SS is not like welfare. We paid into it for years and years. It has been the bank for the House and the Senate’s pet projects. Then it became Senor Bush’s favorite bank. And it continues to be a bank. Now it is almost bankrupt as no one has paid it back.
Several months ago AARP ran an article on seniors living on SS in Florida who are slowly but surely starving to death, literally. I heard of no one helping those people out.
Compassion is not the name of any Senator or Rep as far as I can tell...no champions of the poor.
It might be this is the beginning of the Great Die off. I bet Soros eats well each and every night...and Hefty Clinton the same.
