Was I correct in hearing at least some of those Tennessee fires were arson caused?
Yes, several of the fires were arson. The fire that hit Gatlinburg was and they arrested two teens for it and charged them with arson so far. They go to court sometime this week and they d*** well better be charged for killing 14 people!
There have been a couple of other arrests that I’ve heard about for other fires.
Some fires were man-caused but were accidental. People burning piles of brush, campers not putting their camp fires completely out, stuff like that, despite there being a burn ban. Stupid people.
I think you’ve posted something else by Hawkwind in the past but it wasn’t this. I really like the band!
I wonder what the parents of these arsonist "teens" have to say?

That’s a good question. We know absolutely nothing other than it was two teens. Don’t know their ages, don’t know where they’re from. Nothing.
The fire started several miles south of Gatlinburg. No houses in the area that I could see in the aerial video Channel 5 posted. Someone hiking saw the two punks walking the trail, tossing lit matches on the ground. They got pix on their cell phone when they saw smoke where the two had passed. That’s how they ended up catching them.

Still feel cruddy but I think tomorrow will be better. I’ll take some NyQuil before going to sleep for the night. I’ve been napping, but will try to sleep soon. Didn’t sleep worth a hoot last night or this afternoon.
