Rudy has said in the past that the ONLY job he wanted was SoS and reiterated that again today.
Well Rudy ‘you don’t always get what you want’ and especially if Trump wanted you for another job and you turned it down.

Trump said in the statement. “He is and continues to be a close personal friend, and as appropriate, I will call upon him for advice and can see an important place for him in the administration at a later date.”Perhaps Giuliani will actually serve a far greater role in the Trump Administration than a cabinet secretary.
